| Kelly Kott She saw a big tentacle coming towards her, was this guy an actual octopus. Honestly she didn't want to know, all she knew was she must kill this guy, with or without help. As it came to her she swung at the part of the tentacle that was not holding the scythe as she knew her scythe couldn't cut through another. -If you decide it hits the tentacle it will cut it clean off, if not she'll probably get sliced- |

He was hoping for something to appear on his way to Townhouse 482.1, but so far, he had been out of luck... until now. Passing through a maid cafe in the denser Uemachi District, the storm seemed to get fiercer and fiercer, until suddenly he hits a dark spot, visibility lowering significantly. Koto stops, staring into the storm. "Sorry, Lady Izanami, but I can't see anything..." Oh, but Lucas could. With his peripheral vision, he sees a figure in the middle of the blizzard. A fight was happening, and multiple combatants were participating. Out of the very far corner of his eye, he catches a very familiar looking blue hood... What was she doing? She could catch a cold in this weather! And after Lucas had gone through the effort of buying stealing a nice coat for her, too! Still, Lucas made no attempt to signal her, and she made no attempt to signal him, either. Acting familiar had a chance of blowing his cover. |
| Yamato Yumi [Shadowbow] She failed to hit Jack, instead potentially injuring an ally. "I'm sorry! Are you okay?" she said in her rough camouflaged voice. She then turned around and shot jack with two electric arrows, one on each side of him, they should magnetize and attract one another, then shock Jack as they hit him. For extra lighting, she continuously shot 4 fire arrows in the air, one after another, so that people would be able to see even a bit more clearly. "Commander, orders!" she said to Koganei as she readied a fighting stance. Arrow Supply Ice Arrows=19/20 Fire Arrows=18/20 Electric Arrows=18/20 Izanami Izumi They had stumbled upon a dark alley, and as he said, some sort of shadow was covering the area, darkening the area. She squinted her crimson eyes, but failed to see much aside from a few silhouettes. She then noticed that her amulet was acting up - which meant that spirits and the dead were close. She did not want to be bothered with this, however, so she said "It seems the road ahead is unsafe. If I may ask, where is your destination, Mr. Takeshi? I may have a safer route in mind. However, if you insist, then I shall meet you at the end of this road, since I do not want to go into that darkness- therein lies dangers- probably of the supernatural kind, Mr. Takeshi. If you insist on going through though, I will not stop you." |

| Ava Skill Active: Gentle Fist Fighting Style - Total mana deducted this turn 5% continuation cost Total Stats: Total Mana: 85% Using her gentle fist style, Ava simply deflected the arrows by using her palm, gaining two small cuts in the palms of her hand in the process. Deflecting projectiles never was her strong suit. She charged forward at Jack, once again using her speed and Agility to move in close, and then attempted to perform the same attack as she was going to last time she assaulted him, and being prepared to perform a backwards hand spring to escape the danger from Jack again. |
Lukas Miftah  He stood in the back, watching everything carefully for a moment to jump in. When Yumi iluminated the are for a second he got the opportunity to see the tentacles, Kelly attempting to cut the one attacking her, and Ava's attack on attack on Jack. A second was enough to decide what to do. He was quite close behind Kelly that tried to cut the tentacle attacking her, so he would first give a helping hand. Running by her, he ran for a moment along the tentacle before he slid to the left towards the tentacle's side and dealt a series of slashes with his twin blades in the same spot on the tentacle to try to help Kelly in cutting it down. |

Koganei Hibari  "What in the..." Koganei began, seeing a tentacle appear from Jack within the shadows-- it carried-- "A halberd?? Countering my trident, huh...?" With his high Perception stat and Stamina at 90% (after performing a single attack and running around earlier), Koganei dissolved into a mist, allowing the halberd strike to slice through and relocating himself beside Shadow Bow. "Shadow Bow, I need you to get to a vantage point and attack from a distance. I'll work with these guys to keep the pressure on him in close combat!" This being said, Koganei charge back at Jack, attacking with Pluto Edge and sending a barrage of stabs and slashes at him. (This attack can be countered and you can take or give damage here, if you prefer.) |

Ava then tried to attack him again, but he simply turned back into shadows, letting Ava miss yet again before appearing near her to strike, but she avoids this by performing a backward hand spring. Koganei then tried to attack him by rushing forward and giving a barrage of strikes. He then extended four tentacles which were carrying various types of swords and parried his trident before extending another one and stabbing him from behind with a dagger. He then extended another tentacle towards Yumi and throws her away. Meanwhile, at this time Caelan should have been thrown away by his tentacle. He then laughed maniacally before extending a last tentacle to throw some daggers towards Lukas and Kelly. Important |
Koganei Hibari His barrage of attacks parried, Koganei began to draw back from his charge. A knife in his lower backside however would catch him off guard, causing Koganei to cry out in pain as he hopped over to the nearest wall in the back alley to get away from Jack. He saw that others were taking damage from the dark tentacles of this "Jack the Ripper." He knew that fighting Jack on his own would not go well for anyone-- it was time to start some teamwork here. "Gahhh! God damn it... Hey! Shadow Bow, and anybody else taking on Jack the Ripper in these shadows, keep him occupied!!" Koganei barked, ordering both his comrade and strangers alike as he held his hand to his bleeding wound on his back. Koganei's right eye glowed a radiant red-- his mana began coursing through his body as it radiated higher than his stamina level. "It's time to unleash a storm here..." Koganei began, holding his trident out with both hands to keep it held up horizontally in front of him. Lightning began to spark about him, as the storm clouds hovering above Shizuka City began to converge over Koganei Hibari. "Time to invoke... Maelstrom." (This is a two turn move which will result in Koganei's defenselessness on the next move. It will also cause his Mana to expend and match his Stamina level.) |

| Kelly Kott Kelly quickly thanked Lukas, she then saw knives coming at the two of them, so she warned him. She did some acrobatics to dodge them, then proceeded to run up to Jack. After doing so she jumped up and attempted to decapitate Jack. |

Lukas Miftah He just gestured at Kelly with a smile by putting 2 fingers at his forehead in some sort of military salute in a way to say "no problem", then at Kelly's warning he turned to see the daggers come towards him. The first one to almost hit him was swiftly deflected by him striking it from the side with one of his blades to alter its course away from him, also tilting his head to make sure the knife wont hit him, then he proceeded to dodge the other knives oricum deflect them with his blades if needed as he followed Kelly's charge towards Jack. However, he wouldnt jump like her, but run in a small arc around hit untill he reached the enemy's side, then switched direction and headed towards Jack as he attempted to attacked low with his dual blades, also making sure to not get in Kelly's way. If he would succed he would attempt to dodge any sort of attack coming at him before jumping away te safety if possible. If Jack would use something to attack him or if he would be somehow in danger of being hit by Kelly, he would attempt to alter his course as much as needed to still be able to attack Jack. If that is impossible, he would stop and dodge before jumping back to safety |

As they approached him, he smiled. Kelly's strike did indeed hit him, but he merely turned into shadows yet again. He appeared behind her to counter, but he was a bit startled by Yumi's arrows as she shot one freeze arrow to his feet, slowing him a bit, while her fire arrow exploded in mid air and lighted the area for a second. Just as he planned, Lukas would change his course and hit him. He was slashed by his double blades as he crouched a bit. He then tried to counter them all by extending a tentacle towards Kelly and extending a spear from the tip, extending its reach with minimal risk of damage, while extending another to grab Lukas. He would attempt to avoid it, but just as he thought he was in the clear, Jack extended a spear from the tip yet again and attempted to impale him, which would do heavy damage. At the same time, he had sent another tentacle to try and attack Koganei with a Warhammer, seeing that he's preoccupied with preparing an attack, he shouldn't be able to use his mist powers at the same time. He then sprouted daggers from the ground which shattered the ice on his feet, freeing him. He looked towards Yumi and smiled. He seemed to now have a plan. | Kelly Kott How did that not hit him? she though, in her school she had gone up against criminals, sometimes murderers but he was much stronger. One thing she didn't want to do was use Blazing as he was not worth her activating in. A tentacle holding a spear was closing in on her. She knew that there was a wall not that far behind her. Kelly hastily slipped under the tentacle then turned her scythe into a gun. Soon after she turned and ran about a tentacle and a half away from it. She then began shooting the tentacle. |

Koganei Hibari Koganei's attack was able to charge up in time while Jack was dealt damage (but also did a number of his own upon the others), electricity coursing through his arms and into his trident. However, Jack had caught a glimpse of his still charging up, and to his disadvantage, Koganei was caught off guard, his right shoulder being smashed by a warhammer and sending Koganei tumbling backwards into the alleywall behind him. "Yikes, how unsightly for me to get beat up like this." Koganei said, wincing from the pain as he sat with his back against the wall. He gritted his teeth however; this wasn't' over-- it wasn't even close to being over yet. With his Maelstrom ability ready and his Stamina and Mana back in flux, Koganei held his left hand to the sky as he stood up and leaned against the wall. "Now! Thundercrash!!" A storm was called upon the area, mixing with the blizzard and turning into a super storm! Lightning under Koganei's direction began to spark, sending three lightning blasts crashing down towards the area around Jack, one hitting the ground after the other. |

| Yamato Yumi [Shadowbow] HP=80% She saw that her plan partially worked but it was not over. Jack was still running around attacking people with tentacles. Seeing that he was extending a lot of tentacles and attacking people. She kept an eye on Koganei, who was about to release his signature lightning attack. Realizing this, Yumi shot an electric arrow towards Jack. Based on his previous reaction time, he should not be able to dodge a lightning strike, and her electric arrow would guarantee that a lightning bolt would hit him. Then she quickly shot another fire arrow to the sky to help the others again. To aid more, she shot ice arrows towards Jack to slow him down further. Lukas Miftah He had managed to deal some damage to Jack, but he realised pretty Quick that he long ago crossed the point of no return of the danger zone. After Jack tried to grab him with a tentacle he attempted to jump back to get out of reach. However, he did not expect him to extend a spear from the tip, so he didnt have that much time to act. Fortunately, he managed to avoid a lethal strike in the heart as he attempted to side step after landing. Unfortunately, that wasnt enough to get te safety as the spear stabbed him in the shoulder, making him grit his teeth in pain. Most probably that arm wont work so well anymore... Using his free hand, he stabbed the tentacle with one of his blades, then pulled the blade downwards with force in an attempt to cut the tentacle, noticing the upcoming storm in the sky. If he would succeed in freeing himself, he would jump back to get out of range, grabbing 2 knives from his belt with his good hand and throwing them towards Jack before he would land, holding his wounded shoulder. - Tsk, this guy really lives up to the expectation... |

She narrowed her eyes, and focused on the tentacle that was heading towards Lucas, and using all of her speed, strength, and agility ran and then jumped, before hopefully landing on the tentacle feet first, which shouldn't be difficult, as Jack was focused on Yumi. She hoped to land right around the middle of the tentacle, and then use her downward momentum to drive the tentacle off course, and to perhaps do some damage to it as she landed on top of it. This would hopefully give Lukas time to free himself. "Quick, someone! I need a weapon!" Ava had quickly realized using nothing but her fists and feet had done little to allow her to be able to fight jack, as stomping and punching these tentacles alone wasn't going to do a whole lot. |
Lukas Miftah Ava had aided him in freeing himself from the tentacle by attacking it, hopefully giving him the oportunity to get back like suggested last turn. Afterwards, Ava asked if anyone had a weapon. Well, given he couldnt really do much with a blade in his left hand now, most likely being able to use only a dagger in that hand, so he might as well give Ava his second blade as she also helped him. - Catch! he called out to her before he grabbed his second blade with his good hand and tossed it handle first towards Ava so she could catch it easily, given she wasnt far from him. |

Meanwhile Kelly was trying to slip bellow his tentacle. This was a mistake as he slammed his tentacle down on her and gripped her from the hips. Given her position, it would be unlikely for her to be able to evade it. At the same time, Ava was getting on to one of the tentacles as Lukas tried to get himself off of the tentacle. However, an electric arrow neared him from Yumi. He smiled as he prepared to evade it but instead lightning bolts came from the sky and focused on the arrow near him, shocking him with very little time to react. He screamed in pain as he smiled. The currents also went to the tentacles, so Kelly, Lukas and Ava would also receive damage. Having took heavy damage, and seeing yet another fire arrow to the sky, he laughed and turned into shadows, letting go of the electrocuted Kelly, Ava and Lukas before appearing behind Yumi. He would then stabbed her in the stomach with a spear and pulled it out before kicking her off the ledge. Important |

She coughed out blood but gritted her teeth before shooting a freeze and electric arrow at him. Whether this attack hit or not, however, was irrelevant as she was kicked off, loosing a lot of blood she fell to the ground. Before losing consciousness though, she grabbed an ice arrow and used it on her wound, screaming in pain as she successfully managed to close up the wound, assuring her survival-for now. She then drew three fire arrows with her last ounce of strength and shot them above so others could see better. Then, she lost consciousness. | Kelly Kott HP=30% She had just been slammed on and thrown to the side. It hurt and she was getting tired. This was still no reason to use blazing though. Kelly then ran up to Yumi then ran as fast as she could into the cafe, then had layed her in the changing room in hopes no one would find her. Kelly would not let anyone else die. When leaving the cafe she saw a man and replied to him "Jack that's what's happening." After speeding out of the cafe she ran to Jack, she was panting but ignored this. Then proceeded to position her scythe so it would slice him in circles as she ran in circles. |

Alex Arclight Health: 100% Stamina: 50 Stamina points (8.5 regen) Mana Reservoir: 135MP (13.5MP regen) Percentage of String Unraveled:10m (25m max) Hugging himself tightly by the time he reached the Cafè, he had noticed some commotion. Kneeling down and looking through the window of the Cafè he could see some sort of conflict happening within the Cafè, if this were the guy who was responsible for the recent attacks, and the recent influx of management which Alex had to do later tonight, then this meant that he had to be extremely careful. He couldn't see the fight properly thanks to the storm so instead he summoned his Divine String and controlled it, making it's way into the cafe he could feel multiple vibrations. He held the string to his ear (like those string/cup telephone things) to listen in on what was happening. Something about a guy named Jack and lots of destruction from what he could make out. Taking another peek through the window he tried to get a better look at the fight, opening the door slowly he ducked behind one of the tables, able to see clearly now. He took his string and tied it between multiple pieces of furniture, meaning if Jack were to take a step toward Kelly he would potentially trip and cut his foot if he didn't notice the trap being set right below his feet. 'That should trip him up' Alex thought to himself and pulled the string to is was tight, giving it maximum cutting ability. Now all he had to do was hope Jack did what he wanted him to do. |

As it traveled through her shoes though, which had rubber soles and thus made conduction a difficult task, she took less damage then someone normally would from such an attack, and it allowed her to grit her teeth and bare it, -5%. Taking her new blade, and using her strength, agility and speed, she charged at Jack, and then jumped and swung the weapon in a vertical downward stab aiming for the area between his neck and his shoulder, hoping to pierce his neck. This time, unlike last time however, she let the lust of battle consume her, and did not think to prepare for or even look for a counter attack. While it would be a speedy attack, it also left an opening. |
Koganei Hibari Koganei's attack had dealt some damage to Jack, much to his appeal-- however, Thundercats had also backfired on him, shocking a few of his allies at the moment by Jack's counter. "Damn him... Alright, phase two. Shadow...!" Koganei began, looking over to his comrade to address her-- only to see her stabbed from behind by Jack. "Yamato-san!!" Koganei cried, running over through the shadow cloud to reach her-- he was held back however, as an intricate wire trap was laid about before him. A girl (Kelly) came to his aid however, grabbing an unconscious Yamato and rushing her to safety as Koganei hopped out of danger with his mist form. Materializing, he could see others begin charging at Jack. "If you're going to fight, you have to fight together! None of these people see that?!" Cursing, Koganei made up his mind-- he would help these allies finish Jack off, hoping that Yamato would be okay. I'm sure thats what she would want. That's what I'd want her to do for me. Determined to get back to Yamato as quickly as possible, Koganei clutched his trident firmly, looking up and running forwards towards Jack with Ava, beginning to combo up with her based upon her motions. She had leapt over Jack to attack his face and upper neck, so Koganei followed with a legsweep and hurdle backwards into a squatting position. There, Koganei waited for Ava to land and watched Jack's reaction: should Jack aim at Ava's blindspot, Koganei would leap forward and intercept, stabbing at whatever tentacle or attack he dished out. However, this position, though protective of Ava, left Koganei defenseless as well. |

Lukas Miftah After he got shocked by the friendly fire he fell to a knee, holding his shoulder wound as he gritted his teeth. There was a need of teamwork, but he's more of a lone wolf. Unfortunately, a wounded lone wolf, to be exact. For a moment he stood back, taking account on everything the people fighting Jack did, then he watched Ava and Koganei rush to attack Jack. He lightly frowned, then he grabbed his blade with his good hand as he used his bleeding arm to grab one of his small knives as he ran after Koganei and Ava. He saw clearly that Koganei was pretty wounded, but he was a powerful ally... So if Lukas cant attack, he can support. Thus, he would join Ava and Koganei, but he wouldnt attack Jack directly, but work with his impressive mobility to quickly target incoming attacks and/or tentacles and intercept them with his blades quickly to block, intercept, destroy or at least knock them out of their way to try to avoid damage being delt to Ava and Koganei |

???  ??? remained crouched on the rooftop overlooking the fight, waiting for his opportunity. He decided that now would be a good time to enter the fight, as it seemed Jack was getting weaker. ??? hoped they could finish the fight with their first move. ??? jumped off the rooftop utilizing their high agility and speed, ??? aimed their wrist-blade towards Jack's upper back, inbetween the ribs as he descended. If ??? successfully landed on Jack, ??? would attempt to stab Jack in the previously mentioned location. Hopefully, ???'s level 30 agility, speed and perception, level 25 accuracy, and the element of surprise would make the attack successful. |

Kelly was attacking him with a rotational attack that would require a great amount of space, and the momentum of which would make the scythe rotation not that fast. As she neared him, Jack simply let out two tentacles, one shielding him from the scythe's blade with a hammer, and one holding the staff of the scythe along with his left hand, completely stopping Kelly's attack. At this moment, Koganei and Ava were charging at him. The flame from Yumi's arrows were dispersing, so he had more time as they would need to find their way through the shadows. He then created a sword with his right hand and stabbed Kelly in the stomach before throwing her away with his tentacles. He then looked towards the two people attacking him as the darkness set in. He stood his ground, so he was not caught by Alex' trap. As Ava closed in on him, she seemed to be different- more... feral. As she bloodthirstily ran towards him and jumped to stab him, he was lucky enough to be able to block one of her blades with his tentacle, but not both, and it damaged his tentacle too. At the same time Koganei had attempted a leg sweep, however he dealt with this by sacrificing two tentacles which came out of his leg almost instinctively and a claymore near his leg as a shield. He then saw Ava land, and seeing an opening, he would use the tentacle that he used to defend himself against her to cleave her open with a halberd in a diagonal manner, however, as soon as he did that, Koganei and Lukas reacted and intercepted his attack, trying to stab the tentacle and intercept the attack. Unfortunately for them, given the length of the halberd they would have managed to put the tentacle out of commission but fail to stop the halberd to cleave Ava's shoulder, though he did weaken the strike considerably. Seeing that Koganei was left open, Jack quickly created a spear and a tentacle from his chest, aiming at Koganei, but Lukas quickly intervened and tried to block the shot, causing damage to him instead. Jack however, also threw a dagger at Koganei that was out of Lukas' range and if Koganei had dodged it, it would hit Ava's face. Then, suddenly, Jack felt an unknown man jump on him and stab his back. He laughed and created two tentacles holding two daggers to stab him and push him to a wall as in all the commotion he said "Such fun!" The opening she had left taken ruthless advantage of as Jack swung the halberd in a diagonal manner and it cleaved into her shoulder. -25% damage The wound immediately began to spray blood as it hit what Ava was certain must have been an artery. Her arm was now useless, and the dagger dropped from it. Was she to die on this battlefield? Ava saw the spear as it was launched, and then also noticed the throwing knife. Not trusting koganei to dodge, she jumped and pulled him backwards out of the way, and placed herself in front of the dagger. Due to her vertical movement, she had placed her chest in the area where the knife was supposed to impact, and thus it hit her full force -40%. Ava clutched at her chest for a moment, before collapsing onto her side and the blade still buried in her chest. She began to fear cold, and fear swept over her. She let out a small sob and made no effort to move, her wounds still bleeding. |

He certainly wanted to get the lady off of his tail, but he didn't want to go into the storm. Lucas had waited, staring into the storm, and with his perception, had definitely heard the sound of battle, despite being muffled by the raging snowstorm. Was there nothing he could do? Koto squinted his eyes, spotting a familiar figure laying in the snow, red around her. "As much as I'd love to take an alternate route, m'lady, look." Koto pointed at the person, whom he realized was the Izanami servant who had helped him earlier. "Someone's hurt- and badly, too. No time to waste." Koto drew his karambit in his left hand and his revolver in his right, moving to protect the servant. One of the key points of deception, Lucas knew, was to play the part of a helpful deuteragonist. Don't be too important, but help the enemy when possible. Helping out the Izanami clan here would mean they'd be indebted to him later. Not Lin's original plan, but a good substitute- At least, Lucas hoped it was. |
Kurisu Hanzoku  Health=100% Stamina=200 - 30 = 170% *** It was a nice snowy evening outside when Kurisu was drinking tea at his hotel room, checking out the news and thinking of his next step towards annihilation of ComTec. He knew they had a cell or even a whole facility somewhere in Shizuka. But they knew that he was on their trail and never let any information out. But at this precise moment he was mostly relaxing after a long trip here. Mirraine was dancing and singing next to the window. She really liked the snow for some reason and felt very cheerful when there was a heavy snowfall. But their quiet moment was disturbed by an emergency news broadcast. Apparently, there was a fight between a powerful serial killer with supernatural abilities and the citizens. It caught Kurisu's attention as he stood up, clicking with his artificial hands. -Oh golly, apparently some people might need our assistance. Let's go, Mirraine, time to discharge some of that energy. - he said as he was hastily chewing on an energy bar to accumulate energy before battle. He roughly grabbed his jacket and put it on, flying out of the apartment. Mirraine caught up on her hoverboard that appeared out of nowhere and said in a giggling tone: "Heh, since when you were a vigilante?" - to which Kurisu made a "bitch please" kind of face and answered: "You know that I always try to help people out. With that sort of power it's an obligation, not a choice. And besides, I haven't participated in a battle against supernatural fuckwits since the high school!" - a sly grin appeared on his concerned face as he left the building, hurrying to the battle scene. *** Kurisu ran down the street, trying not to get too much snow in his boots. He heard battle sounds coming from a cafe on the side of the street. By the sound of it, battle was happening in the cafe's back yard. Kurisu stopped, taking a breath and filling up his capacitors with another chocolate bar. Area looked rather foggy, which felt very unnatural. It distorted his senses to the extent that even Mirraine had a hard time noticing every detail of his surroundings. Kurisu looked around the cafe entrance to see what he could do to sneakily enter the back yard. He noticed some boxes placed next to the cafe's wall which gave him an idea. He chuckled and climbed the boxes to get to the roof. Now he had an advantage. With Mirraine's help he tried to crawl as sneakily as possible to the other edge of the roof to see a rather grotesque picture. There was a man (or was he a man?) with a scythe and a hood covering his head surrounded by some people. Bloodstains were covering the snow on the battleground - some of the combatants seemed badly injured. But the bad guy didn't look good as well. Looks like combatants have given him a bad time already. Good. He tried to be unnoticed, sneaking on the roof covered by the snowstorm, thinking of his next step. The bad guy seemed to have some sort of teleportation ability, since he easily dodged many attacks and appeared behind the citizens. So firing a palm attack as a starter would be too dangerous. He might just dodge it ant put someone else in danger to be hit by it. But a distraction maneuver with some simple attacks.. That might work. Kurisu told Mirraine non-verbally: "Take control of my eyes. We have to be sure that we can see him at all times. If he tries to dodge - next attack should be directed at his next location." Mirraine nodded and Kurisu felt his eyesight becoming more clear as Mirraine took care of observation. Then Kurisu extended his hands and set on one knee, firing a Kinetic Bolt at the guy with scythe, followed up by a fast three-finger shot. If Jack would teleport or dodge, Kurisu would tune his second and third three-finger blast to hit him in his next location if he could spot him in time. |

| Izanami Izumi She stayed on guard as she heard his report. She looked towards the spirit she sent and it signalled to her that it was true. They then came upon Ava- heavily injured and shivering. She walked calmly towards her as she saw the situation. It was dark, but with a combination of her detection of aura and the whispers from the spirits she knew that a few combatants were fighting someone there- and they were winning. It was too dark and crowded for her to use her destructive power, as well as reports that the enemy could dodge attacks very effectively. "Do not intervene Takeshi-san, there are those that are more capable there." She then kneeled down and took Ava's head on her lap. She wiped her forehead and said to the shivering little girl "Do not fear, young one. I am here now. It is fine. Do not worry." before kissing her forehead. "Now," she continued to say, "Remember, you are a member of the Izanami clan-our family. Use our gift. It will help you recover." she urged her to use the gift of the dead, which would give her +15% endurance and strength as well as a health regeneration rate of 2.5%/post at the cost of -15% mana regeneration. |
Alex Arclight Health: 100% Stamina: 45 Stamina points (8.5 regen) Mana Reservoir: 120MP (13.5MP regen) Percentage of String Unraveled: 20meters (25meters max) "Tsk." Alex bit his lip in annoyance, Jack didn't fall into his trap however it looks like he didn't notice Alex sneaking into the cafe. He still had the upper hand in the fight. Peeking from behind his cover he saw many tentacles coming from the mans body, possibly a weak point. Alex went over it in his head, there were many people in the building and if they ran into his string there wouldn't be too much he could do for them. It also seemed none of the other combatants had noticed his string trap either, luckily none of them had cut themselves on it. He didn't want to seem like the bad guy here, with an ability such as his it would be difficult to try maneuver it in a way so that he only caught Jack. He looked on as another person came into battle, firing projectiles at the man with tentacles, this could be an opportunity. Alex latched his string onto Kurisu Hanzou's projectiles, meaning that if any of Hanzou's projectile's hit Alex's string would be buried in Jack's body. This was a good plan, and he was thankful to the new comer in the battle, this was the opportunity he needed to get some damage on this guy. |

Koganei Hibari Jack retaliated with coldblood, slashing about and sending attacks in response to their charge. Lukas and Koganei had made their move to defend, but it came to backfire upon them, especially upon Ava. "E-eh!? Oi!!" Koganei yelped, being yanked out of the way as Ava took the full force of Jack's fury. Tumbling backwards and rolling to his side, Koganei looked up towards Jack, seeing that another wave of fighters were on the move. [b]"Ow... Th-thanks for the save, but--"[b] Koganei's thanks cut short however, as he looked to the ground before him to see that the girl who saved him had suffered serious injury. A regal-looking woman had appeared out of nowhere, tending to Ava as Koganei stood up and looked upon them in awe. "Shit... Damn it, our first major battle and I've got causalities left and right." Koganei gritted his teeth, clenching his fist as he knelt back down to pick up the trident he had dropped. "Equilibrium." Koganei noted, depleting a large amount of his stamina to create a large gust of wind resonating from Pluto's Edge. He swung his trident forward in the open air, causing the wind to rush through the alleyway, picking out the shadows and clearing the air for the rest of the group, increasing their Perception back by 1/2 of the original loss. This done, Koganei walked forward and smashed his trident into the ground and held a defensive stance, standing in front of Lady Izanami and Ava to protect them from a wayward onslaught. "We've got to finish this, here and now." |

He saw his work and was kind of disappointed that the people who fought him were this weak. Just as he thought that however, he felt an attack coming near him, and of course, he would turn into shadows as it touched him, instead turning up behind Koganei and preparing to attack him before suddenly feeling two projectiles pierce him from behind. He felt the pain but he didn't flinch as he took a spear and attempted to impale Koganei while throwing a huge axe with a tentacle towards Kurisu. Important [/quote] |

Normally, when someone took a mortal wound and started bleeding out, they had time to say a swear word or two, or just went down silently. If you were dying, there isn't much time for the breathy dramatic stuff of soap operas. Luckily for Lucas- and Lady Izanami- the fact that the servant couldn't speak meant that she wouldn't die. Not yet. Now, time to play as a helpful bystander. Dropping his weapons on the ground, Koto shrugged off the jacket provided by the Izanami clan, lifting the servant's head and putting it underneath as a makeshift headrest. "It may not look like it, but I'm actually trained in a little bit of first aid. Is there something I can do to stop the blood flow?" As he spoke, Koto took the wounded girl's shoulder and lifted it above her chest to aid in stopping the blood flow. If he had another cloth, he would be able to apply pressure to the wound, but using his own hands would be unsanitary. |
Kurisu Hanzoku Health=100% Stamina=170 - 35 = 135% As soon as Kinetic Bolt hit the abomination, it disappeared in the shadows. Kurisu and Mirraine quickly glanced over the entire battlefield, noticing the enemy appearing behind a guy with a trident who just made it much easier to spot the weird murderer. Kurisu aimed at him and shot two three-finger blasts, successfully hitting him in the back. "Oh, that must've hurt. Nice shot, Kurisu!" - said Mirraine in a praising tone. Kurisu grinned at the successful attack, but it didn't seem to cause much damage. Even though this tentacle creep seemed pretty hurt already when Kurisu arrived at the battlefield, he still stood straight after two three-finger beams penetrated his back. It would cause a normal human to collapse at least. It's like if somebody have shot a pistol at you. So this guy must've worn armor, or "This is one of those buff super-powered guys who won't go out easily. Back to school, eh?" - mentally told Kurisu to Mirraine, having some nostalgic flashbacks to his high school days. The creep stood strong. And he acted like he didn't just get shot twice in the back - he just casually attacked the trident guy with a spear and threw a huge axe at Kurisu's direction. He didn't even look at him! He was just like someone who would try to hit the hoop with a basketball, thinking to himself "Oh yeah, I'm so cool, I'll score this ball without even looking. All the girls will be mine". But it was no joke. The axe was closing in rapidly. Kurisu clenched his teeth and activated the Kinetic Shield with his already extended hand. When the axe hit his shield, its perfect hexagonal shape showed, reflecting light and shimmering with every rainbow's colors. It also sparkled at the impact point, making a loud grinding sound. The axe was reflected and it fell in a snowdrift. Kurisu felt this impact draining a big chunk of his stamina. But he was still good to go. |
Lukas Miftah He and Koganei had moved in to block Jack's halberd attack, but they only managed to lessen the force as the momentum still brought the halberd into Ava's shoulder. After that Jack tried to spear Koganei with a tentacle from his chest, but he had again decided to step in, using his good hand with the blade to attempt to partially block the spear as he held the blade on his side, but not perpendicularly, more like diagonally. He knew he didnt have the strenght to completely block it, so he held the blade like that to lessen the force and change its course. Well, when the spear collided with his blade it did lose some force and was forced upwards, but it was stronger than what Lukas expected, so he couldnt completely block th damage as the spear harmed its already wounded shoulder. However, Hibari wouldnt get damaged by the spear. After Jack's attack ended Hibari had taken a defensive stance in front of Ava and Lady Izanami after launching a wind attack, and he stood near him. The moment he saw Jack disappear he immediately acted, grabbing his blade as he turned around and dashed behind Hibari. When Jack teleported he usually appeared behind a target, so Lukas would get behind Hibari almost at the same time as Jack, so he had time to act. Twisting his blade, he struck the spear's side rather than blocking the tip as pushing it off course had more chances of succes, so if he couldnt completely push it away from Hibari, at least he could lessen the damage and give him more time to react. Now that that was out of the way, time to go in. Using one of his feet as a pivot, he halted his dash and changed direction as he dashed towards Jack with his sword and dagger, attempting to hit him head on. At the first sign of danger he would attempt to avoid it with his agility and still strike down Jack, but if it was impossible he would retreat back to safety |

Koganei Hibari Koganei had watched Jack disappear as he stood on defense, yet realized too late that Jack was aiming to flank him. He quickly turned around, looking to block and try to lessen the damage from Jack's attack-- however, Luka's had intervened, running in to block and slow Jack just in time for Koganei to react. "Arigatou, niisan~!!" Koganei exclaimed, turning into mist as the spear passed through him painlessly. Koganei would then reappear right next to Lady Izanami, holding his trident tightly and looking down to the fallen girl in her arms. He recognized Izanami, his eyes opening a little wider as he addressed her warmly, yet briefly. "Izanami-sama: Hisashiburi da ne, kedo... " A little strand of blood flowed from Koganei's forehead. This was not the place to catch up with an old friend. "I must finish this. This has gone on too long." Koganei bolted towards Jack and began to go for a few strikes in unison with Lukas. This would have to be for the kill, otherwise, Koganei would be in serious trouble. |

| Izanami Izumi She left Ava in the care of the suspicious man, with her spirit friend vigilantly watching them, and she saw the battle ahead. The enemy seemed to be teleporting, and the other children-including one she knew of who, irritatingly addressed her in a playful manner, she was indifferent about attacked him. Seeing this, she sighed and sought to end this once and for all. She told Koto "Take care of Ava for a while, Takeshi-san" and proceeded to float above the premise, and unsheathed her sword. There, she would vigilantly watch the battle, and if the figure teleports from the children, she would strike, slashing her sword in the air and creating a 50cm radius oid orb and launching it to the enemy. Given he has shown that he can't use the teleportation twice in a short amount of time, surely this would be effective. |
Alex Arclight Health: 100% Stamina: 50 Stamina points (8.5 regen) Mana Reservoir: 105MP (13.5MP regen) Percentage of String Unraveled: 20meters He sat behind the toppled dining table and felt his string being pulled by the projectiles of Kurisu, one whizzed past and his the wall while two of them hit Jack. He felt a tug on the string, not unlike a fishing rod, he knew that the projectiles had hit Jack, just two of them. That was good enough, as the projectiles hit Jack, Alex pulled the string taught. In doing so the string would grip to Jack's flesh and tear it from his body as the string was pulled out of the wounds left by Kurisu's projectiles. Alright with this I'm sure to hit him He thought to himself, drawing the string back, and with it, parts of Jack's flesh. Peeking around the corner to get a better view of the situation he could see more projectiles being thrown at Jack, if only he could get his string to them, unfortunately he only had 5 more meters left and couldn't attach his string to Izanami's projectile. |
