Basically the hierarchy's Goku, Vegeta, a gap spanning the width of the universe, the rest of the Z-Fighters. |

| I hate how they did the SSJ God SSJ form. Goku only fought in the SSJ God form for 1 battle! Then the next time we see him a few episode later, he's already in another form!? Screw that! Just explain to the viewers that SSJ God form has the potential of reaching higher and higher power-levels. Not to mention the cringe-worthy name they gave the newest form... I mean really. It's now passed the line of ridiculous. They could have at least stretched out the SSJ God form for a few hundred episodes! Too much is going on with the new series! Give viewers some time to digest the new stuff before diving head-first into the next thing! First Goku turns SSJ God, then he learns to hone the power into his normal form, then that goes out the window straight away with SSJ God SSJ red hair. Ugh |

| Ugh, this episode... The writing between Goku & Freeza became all jovial and friendly after Vegeta interrupted them and started applauding, what the hell happened to Freeza's desire for revenge? The fight became more like two old sparring partners than two mortal enemies. Not to mention the lackluster animation... and they also decided to do a reveal like SSJ in god-form with the animation looking this bad, and no real buildup or fanfare? UGH. What happened to the days when a new Super Saiyan form was this big, exciting thing? The SSJ1 reveal, with Goku vs. Freeza on Namek was mezmorizing! The SSJ2 reveal, with Gohan vs. Cell was absolutely incredible! The SSJ3 reveal, with Goku vs. Majin Buu & Babidi was also really cool and a memorable moment, and had some flare to it, even if it's wasn't presented in quite the same extravagant fashion as the other two! Even The SSG reveal, with Goku vs. Beerus, had a big sequence to it, leading up to the reveal... However, this reveal... it's just like "alright, he changed, now let's slowly show his hair. aaaand done." Like, seriously... wtf... I'm hoping it was at least better done in the movie. I'll have to watch it and see. Either way, while I think the blue hair design looks better than the red hair design, these neon colors look really stupid in any case. It clashes with the rest of the character's color palette. |

| Thinking about it, the Super version of Resurrection F is kind of worse narratively. Piccolo just died, and Goku still isn't going all-out. I get that the Namekian Dragon Balls exist, but it's kind of an insult to Piccolo for Goku to not outright beat down Frieza when he far outclasses him. That, and all the comedic asides in between the fighting. I get there's no tension when resurrection is a core mechanic of the series, but really? It's even worse when Vegeta tries to point this out, and everyone else speculates if he returned to Frieza's side, even after all these years together. |
Wow! A new Super Saiyan form! Is it called Goku Blue or something like that? I guess all those 4 months of training weren't in vain and Goku's stronger than ever! |
