| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This episode felt fast but mostly because the game got quickly started. We also get some commentary from the coaches that I found somewhat intimidating and funny. Second half felt somewhat slow but I'm fine with it. The pride of the baseball players are always a refreshing sight to see especially as a team. This tournament has been quite entertaining and that chess reference by the coach :D ED card:  |

| Honestly, this episode was a bit of a dull lead-up to its obvious showdown, but at least it's here now. Sanada and Raichi bringing the hype and high tension. The interplay between the four coaches wasn't too shabby. |

| Kosei just wants to be accepted by his team, it is obvious he would be. Ichidai seems to be one of those teams that would make drastic improvements. Kind of want the next game, though this game is about to end anyway. |

| Looks like one of these next two batters, Raichi and Sanada, will decide the game. I don't see Ichidai winning though. Seido vs Yakushi is too exciting of a match to pass up. |

| I love Yakushi, it s the only team i'd feel sad if they lose (outside of seido of course ). Yakushi's coach is the best i really like his attitude and his approach he's funny and seems lazy but in fact he really cares and trains them well. Sanada is a great pitcher and i love his personality and Raichi is so cute >.< |

| Ochiai really likes to appear out of nowhere. The scouting sensei asked him whether he wanted to sit or not, but he rejected it, saying he is bitter, then proceeded to sit next to her like nothing happened haha. And the words by Coach Kataoka, 'The players aren't heartless chess pieces,' are well said. |
