| Fuck. This episode pretty much answered every query I had in the last episode. Apparitions can attract other apparitions no wonder a lot of apparitions are appearing around Araragi because of Shinobu, too. The First saw Shinobu when she visited that shrine when they're about to time leap back then, so it gave him will to become powerful like a romance yeah. Haha. First literally followed Shinobu in that town, that's why he's there. Hehe. No wonder Ononoki's mission failed because First was gone when she arrived in that shrine. Now their mission is to kill First. And jeez Shinobu knew that Araragi is jealous of the First. Hehe. Jealous Araragi is cute. Heck, you're her one and only now, Araragi, like she said, so that's a relief. Huehue. Cuties. Hahaha. Kanbaru is literally a fujoshi and that "Eat up" is from a BL light novel. I can't with her. And asking Araragi to buy her a bra. Pffft. Cutie Shinobu wants donuts. Awwww. :3 EXCUSE MOI, I JUST CAN'T IGNORE THAT SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION REFERENCE THERE WHEN ARARAGI SHOUTED FREEDOM. HAHAHA! | So basically, the first minion was the cause for all the Apparition that Araragi had been facing so far, expect Black Hanekawa. And a 'cat' that help with Shinobu fight earlier wasn't explained yet. I bet it's Black Hanekawa, though it remains vague. Heh, Shinbou said that don't be jealous is the fact that she care both of them. Kaiki and Gaen is a model lol. And dat Shawshank's Redemption reference. |

| Finalmente um episódio perfeito! Tive que reassistir para entender toda a explicação da Gae- (ops) Oshino Izuko, mas valeu a pena! Os mistérios estão se conectando, Nisio não deixa nada de fora e o humor parece mais dinâmico. A cena do Araragi comprando o BL foi um ótimo balanço depois de tanta informação, e a aparição do primeiro servo trouxe uma curiosidade que não sentia nos episódios passados. Primeiro copia a voz e agora a aparência, quem sabe ele não pode se disfarçar de Muraragi-san? No geral, esse episódio trouxe algo que a muito tempo me faltava. 5/5 // Holy shit, finally a perfect episode! I had to re-watch to understand the full explanation of Gae- (ops) Oshino Izuko, but it was worth it! The mysteries are connecting, Nisio leaves nothing out and the mood seems more dynamic. The scene of Araragi buying the BL was a great balance after so much information, and the appearance of the first servant brought a curiosity that I did not feel in past episodes. First copy the voice and now the appearance, maybe he can disguise himself as Muraragi-san? Overall, this episode brought something that I had been missing for a long time. 5/5 (Sorry for potato english) |

| This was yet another great episode so it was all on Gaen talking again but it was great very interesting. The cliffhanger on that last scene was exciting. Kanbaru and Araragi commentary stuff was so damn cute. |

| That was a fantastic episode, it's really amazing how everything just ties together. We finally found out the reason why Gaen wanted to make Shinobu a God. And I can't believe that all this time, the first aberration killer has been the specialists goal the entire time, that's fucking wild. That second half was hilarious though lmao, Shinobu and Kanbaru interacting was something I never knew I needed so badly. Is that fucking Kaiki in that BL cover lmao, and Gaen was in one of those sexy magazines. The employees laughing at Araragi for sandwiching the BL book in sexy magazines was hilarious. Damn, the first aberration killer has gotten a form, is that how he really looked like, or maybe like Shinobu that's just like a younger version of himself since he's still recovering power. Pretty interesting though that Gaen said, Kagenui will never see a day where she can use her full strength. So, is Gaen like the one that cursed Kagenui to never be able to walk on the ground? That's interesting. |

| Did I really see Kaiki and Episode on that BL cover ? There was also Gaen on the magazines Araragi bought, but the most important is that there was freaking Kaiki and freaking Episode on a BL cover. I don't know if I want to laugh or erase my memories before my imagination tries anything. Other than that, now it's confirmed that Kagenui has some sort of ability to resurrect people, maybe that's how Kaiki survived getting killed ? Also, I had doubts because I didn't remember very well what happened but it is also confirmed that it is the Darkness that destroyed Araragi's and Shinobu's connection. It's surprising how casual they both are with that, especially Shinobu. Wasn't her connection to Araragi essential since she needed his energy to survive ? How come she can still move around then ? If I remember correctly, it was even stated that she was losing strength while she was kept away from him (but everyone kinda forgot about this problem as soon as it turned out the Darkness was after Hachikuji instead of Shinobu). What's interesting though, is that at first I wondered why the Darkness separated them, but when I think about it it makes sense. In Kizumonogatari, Oshino described Araragi as "a vampire trying to behave like a human" and Shinobu as "a human trying to behave like a vampire". Considering what is the Darkness' purpose, it makes sense that it would separate them since it is said connection that made them that way. It still doesn't explain Shinobu's current state though. Also, I don't really understand what happened in Tsukimonogatari then with him getting his powers back. But actually, I realize I'm pretty lost when it comes to this plot point about Araragi's condition as a vampire, there's a lot I have forgotten, so I should rewatch some scenes instead of complaining. Other than that, that's once again a lot of important informations we got. So the warrior's ashes brought the necessary amount of energy for the temple to "feed" oddities again, which explains why the oddities began to appear only 15 years ago (which has me wonder, are there oddities others than the ones we know, in different places ?). And the warrior is starting to regenerate which is why he looks the way he does at the end of the episode, it's just like what happened to Shinobu. But what's pretty ironic is that he seemed insanely powerful when he was still a shadow of himself, while now he is like a kid. If we take Shinobu for exemple, then there is no doubt that while he most likely still has some powers like the Energy Drain, he must be considerably weak. Even with the Energy Drain, it would surprise me if he easily gets back the strength he gathered back in episode 7. As I said, that's ironic. Also, that's probably just me but he didn't really leave a good impression on me at the end of this episode, he seems too much to be the typical rival character, I hope I'm wrong because with such a story, he has the potential to be interesting. A last thing I wanted to mention is that now I more or less understand why they brought up this oddity cluster thing last episode, because the whole story is about how oddities came to gather in this city. However that doesn't explain what it really is nor what it is doing here. Apparently it isn't an actual oddity but a "nuisance", but in this context I fail to understand what it is supposed to mean. (Also, I mentionned in the last thread that the cluster thing must be related to the Darkness due to having the same kind of inscriptions written on it, but I just realized it's just what non-humanoid oddities look like.) Well, now that there's only two episodes left I think I can safely say that this arc is, in my opinion, definitely inferior to the fantastic Sodachi arc which is disappointing but it's still pretty interesting, especially thanks to all the informations we get regarding oddities who still remain a mystery. But what's the most disappointing is that once again, I feel like Shinobu is completely relegated to a secondary role in her own arc, even if the story technically revolves around her. It's a real shame because due to that I lost the majority of the interest I initially had in her, and I hoped for this arc to correct that but unless they provide us absolutely amazing last two episodes, it looks like that won't be the case. |

| Araragi's laugh was hilarious XD. I noticed that he laughed just like Kiss-shot did in Ougi dark when she lifted him and swung him around. So Kiss-shot's 1st minion didn't actually die. For the past 400 years he had been burning and regenerating and now like Izuko said he travelled to this town in the form of ash. Pretty obvious that the boy in the last scene (who looks like a male edgy version of Shinobu) is him. Episode and Kaiki on a BL cover is so randomXD  |
