 Shogakukan has opened an official website for a TV anime adaptation of its action comedy manga title Mob Psycho 100. The series will be produced by animation studio Bones and will air in 2016.Mob Psycho 100 is drawn by ONE (One Punch Man). It began serialization in the Ura Sunday online magazine in April 2012. The series has 10 volumes in print, and an 11th will go on sale on December 4. Synopsis Shigeo Kageyama (a.k.a. "Mob") is a 8th grader with psychic abilities. He could bend spoons and lift objects with his mind from a young age, but he slowly began to withhold from using his abilities in public due to the negative attention he received. Now, the only thing he wants is to become friends with a girl in his class, Tsubomi. With his psychic "mentor" (who has no psychic powers), he continues his daily life, attempting to realize his purpose in life. Concrete Revolutio is rumored to be a split cour. |

| Feel pretty good about this. I didn't try the manga out yet because I thought more studios would want to cash in on ONE's stuff. They can't have Saitama so they will have to settle for Mob Psycho. Hopefully they don't try to make the art too similar to the manga. ONE is a great writer but a shitty artist. This looks like a summer or fall anime. Hope the summary improves too. |

I know some want a redraw but I would be happy if it was just as expressive and primitive as ONE's art but with a little polish. Like the CM above or even something like some of the 2D animation in this vid: or they could do the simple drawn characters against well-detailed background approach I've seen in later chapters. |

| Bones are perfect for this, the action sequences are going to look amazing and the OST will probably be damn good as well. Excited to see the rest of the staff, will eb interesting to see who will be directing and involved in it. Also would be pretty damn cool if they got the animators from OPM and the director. Bones are on a roll recently with picking up so many good manga. |
