What are some good anime/manga vampires

I love vampire anime and mangas and I have read a lot and I am wondering if you guys can give me some recommendations. I have some criteria for it.
-The vampires has to be the main character
-The vampires can't be mindless
-I would like it to be in modernish times were the main character goes to school or is around the age were they should be but might not(optional)

Strike the blood
Blood Lad

There is also some more that I haven't seen though like

Seraph of the end
Shiki
Vampire hunter d
Blood +

and many many more, you can use the advanced search bar and fill in the vampire tag and search, click on score if you want the highest rated up

I like Rosario vampire okay. Kinda cheesey and girly but it's okay. Do you know of any hentai with a good plot?
