What's the Best Quality you've Inherited From One of your Parents?

If you despise your parents or they're your favourite people on the planet, it's impossible to say you haven't inherited anything good from them. In your eyes, what's the best quality (in your eyes) that you can tell you've inherited from one of your parents.

For me personally, I'm a pretty sporty person and I can easily tell I've taken after my father (and it's one of my few redeeming features). So what about you? I'm interested to hear what other people would call their best quality from one of their parents.

For clarification: Inherited genes, not "Well I inherited their house when they died not too long ago."

Sinusitis.

I love things that hit me in the head. Regularly.

My dad has a bad temper and is cheap af yet a musical prodigy (perfect pitch and everything) but he's not a musician at all.
My mom's really smart and a very quick learner.

I got the best of both worlds.

My playfulness comes from my mother.

I think I turned out exactly like her in everything but appearance/I'm not a girl.

I never singled out personality traits but okay. Also, you don't directly inherit personality traits, but genes you receive affect your personality, as well as being influenced from socialising, be it online or in reality.

My dad laziness, skin color + My mom's hair cutting skill and I wouldn't say I'm as generous as my mom, she's like super generous towards anyone it scares me.

My body. I got from my momma.

Jokes aside.

From my dad:
Eyebrows. It's bushy enough to actually shape. I feel for those who don't have eyebrows.

That was mean.

Jokes aside.

I guess my skin colour. I'm Bi-racial, and that basically makes up my identity. (I'm like a latte)
And my curly hair. I think I got it from my dad. My mums always been sorta bald, so even I don't know what sort of hair she has. (Style choice, not cancer)

At least I don't look deformed. I'll give them that. Though it's more common for me to hear that I look like either of my grandfathers than one of my parents.
Sometimes I meat people who knew my father when he was young and they say that I look like him, which annoys the fuck out of me.
Older people say that I do both look similar to and resemble my great grandfather's personality. I didn't know him in person myself, but I take that as a very good thing.

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse.

I share quite a few personality traits with my father. We're usually more reserved, shy quiet and laidback, which contrasts my more emotionally expressive and outgoing mother.

well I've heard from other people that I'm very similar to my dad in personality (I haven't spent enough time with him to find out). We're both very impatient and in a rush but apparently very competent and charming (true).
I inherited my mom's paleness and nice skin. I'm also very no nonsense like her and apparently we have a lot of the same mannerisms and good at languages. I look nothing like anyone in my family so it's nice to have the personality stuff at least :(

From my mom: how nice she is to other people. I'm not as good as her, she's unbelievably generous and accommodating. Also I'm like the spitting image of her when she was my age lol
From my dad: his intellect. I think I turned out the way I did because he always talked philosophy to me while I was growing up. I would add in drawing skills but I don't know if I even inherited that from him, it seems more like a coincidence because I learned to draw on my own

Enjoying general knowledge.
Why are we still here? Just to suffer? Every night, I can feel my leg... and my arm... even my fingers. The body I've lost... the comrades I've lost... won't stop hurting... It's like they're all still there. You feel it, too, don't you? I'm gonna make them give back our past."

It would be being generous with money, which I have from my father. He's an alcoholic who has done stupid stuff, been absent through my childhood and failed me over and over. But hey, I'm not materialistic ;)

My athletic prowess. My dad was a track star in highschool and played tons of sports. I'm an incredible sprinter and I'm really good a lot of sports, except basketball. I'm a decent defender, but I can't shoot for crap.

My dad's a critical thinker with a thirst for knowledge, and also does a lot of creative work. I like to believe that I inherited some of those intellectual and artistic inclinations from him. He also has a really goofy form of humour, and a strong sense of compassion. I resemble him in many ways personality-wise, but I have a much colder exterior than him, and I only open up to the people that I love. I didn't spend as much time with him growing up as I did with my mom, but I sorta turned into him anyway.

My mom is awesome. She is hard-working, responsible, loving, and always goes that extra mile. I wish I were as pragmatic as her, but at least I got her loyalty and responsibility. I mostly inherited her less 'good' qualities. >.<

I inherited my laziness and reckless behavior from my dad including my eye and skin color. I got from mother my height and and some facial features I have. Being stubborn also comes from her. She's quite hot headed at times but thank god I'm chill enough like dad.

Excessive sarcasm from my dad.
