Looking a for anime series to watch

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a series with a either a badass mc that starts off op or a story in which the mc trains and works his way up through a series of challenges I enjoy a vast variety of anime and I'm open and any suggestions. I like ankles that involve magic or demons and a quest of some sort that leads to a huge battle at the end. Anything with a great storyline,magic,demons,quests I'll take it.

You might like Log Horizon in which the mc is already powerful and travels in a virtual world to fight monsters with his comrades.
