| How to defeat your enemy without doing a actual Shokugeki? Plan A: Intimidate eg. annoying face and statements of no hope for you enemy Plan B: Show of Force eg. bring some goons to the enemy's turf Plan C: Shokugeki. * wth, this guy won't waver!!! Guess Plan A and B will not concern Soma to back off. Eizen accepts the fact that he can only defeat through a Shoukugeki. He has no choice *removes glasses This actually reminded me when Soma had his first Shoukugeki with Nikumi. | That match is not going to end. I still give this manga a lot of credit, so I don't think it will end with Souma winning judges with his food. It's stupid, it's idiotic. Something else will happen, someone will get in the way of their fighting. However, that rage face Eizan had... priceless. I laughed my ass off when his veins popped out. |

| Considering Souma has no idea what kind of cooking Eizan is good at, I don't think it will be that easy to beat him. Souma never actualy have a real shokugeki with an Elite Ten before, I don't think he will win his first one. It will be pretty interesting if he lose. |

| So Polar Star decided to fight instead of surrendering, while i expected some resistance i certainly didn't see Megumi being the first one vocal about it...hopefully i doesn't bite them in the ass. Four-eyes finally took the bait and decided to fight huh? I wonder if he's still hiding something under his sleeves. |

| What will happen is: One knows that there's no way to win from the start, therefore, unable to change the opinion of the judges, it will then change the view of Eizan, from the beginning, his intention (acting calm and humiliating the Eizan with his composure) is to make this fight seriously, leaving the trickery aside, and even Eizan who cares about money and apparently nothing else seems proud, and at the end he will ask the judges evaluate without pretense two dishes, confident and pissed off at the same time, that can defeat Souma only her cooking that, and how many say down there, it's not a dump, even cheating it is the ninth accent, is no shit, and how can they forget that Souma drew with Isshiki in the manga from the beginning, it has not even gone through the experience now, and has lost pro only his father and pro Hayama that I can remember since arriving at the gym, then surely he will defeat the Eizan smoothly, because in cooking, the Souma, at present, equals at least the fifth accent elite of 10, even if it's role to some, to me it is natural, Souma made Erina in the first chapter, stick with the soft legs his plate, he's fucking yes, did not win this force of nowhere, it's been many flashbacks showing that he missed and lost many times to arrive where he arrived, so do not force the leadership, only a consequence. |

| So Eizan likes to break people's will, but when he can't, he's really starting to lose it himself. Interesting... Rindou is really my fav material, but while she's siding with Azami, I refuse to like her. This chapter somehow gave me so much more hope that the few last ones. Polar Star is fighting back. Souma is still keeping his poker face. Maybe it'll work out. Now it's time to see if Eizan can actually cook! Probably yes, he's part of the Elite Ten after all... |

| After these last few chapters, Eizan's become quite a pathetic villain. The dense cooking front from Souma doesn't have much gusto this arc, and Rindo's intrusive play-by-play quips are killing the the tension while not being particularly funny either. The recent chapters seem both high-paced, yet they're also flat, rushed and generic. It might have to do with the crammed panel count, dull poses, and constantly shifting perspectives, but somehow, the arc's fallen apart since Father's takeover. At least the glass-less Eizan ending panel and Nakiri cover page stood out for impact and artistry. |

| btw I'd rather see Soma lose (which would be logical) than see him win because of a dumb or far-fetched plot twist. Plot armor is what kills suspense, so I wouldn't be mad at all if Soma lost; plus, it'd be a very interesting development. |
