How does this work?
Its simple! Give ideas, topics or anime you want to us to talk about in this thread, and we'll talk about it! Everytime your topic is talked about,
a special shoutout shall be made for you in the podcast by a speaker of your picking!

So basically, give us any topic and the name of the speaker you wish to get your shoutout from :D
(Topics obviously have to be related to anime.)[/code]

Want to be a speaker?
Leave your name in the following format in this thread and PM JTricks with your Skype username
and you shall be contacted soon with more details about how to join us.

Action. discussing the different types of action scenes, what you think makes them work. Examples: One Punch Man focuses on created a sense of impact in each scene rather than fight choreography or fluidity. Arise is the opposite, and plays out like a Jason Bourne movie. Emphasis on choreography and making the physical movements of all the set pieces clear.

What are some of your pet peeves in a romance anime?

What are your favorite comedy anime?

Entertainment Vs Quality, which is more important when viewing anime?

How do you react when plot twists come about in a show that you're really enjoying?

hmm reguarding this manner, we could also talk about what makes differnt studios animation/art unique?? like for example how the airing anime, Concrete Revolutio, takes on a cartoonish feel, while K-Project makes theirselves unique with its contrast and animation fluidity.

sorry, i'm not sure if i'm making sense here xD

It makes a lot of sense Shuuka!

For the speakers next week, the time and topics for the podcast has been released.

And everyone else, please don't stop giving ideas, topics or even an anime you want us to talk about.

Have a nice day!

Makes sense, but I'm finding that it's the directors who make the biggest difference.

Tetsuro Araki made Death Note, Attack on Titan, etc. and he has a talent for very dramatic direction. Even eating a potato chip or writing in a note book can be made to look intense.

Hiroyuki Imaishi uses a completely over the top style (Gurren Lagann, Dead Leaves, Kill la Kill) and the color palette combined with the impact given to every individual scene is what makes the action direction so entertaining.

I'm watching the works of my favorite directors this week to get a better reference point.

For more topics, I really like the romance one, I had a discussion with Max about it earlier. To add to that, what gives romance its emotional impact? What makes you tear up or care about what's happening between the characters?

that one will be hard.

well another topic in mind is, what makes fantasy anime -transported to another world- unique? such as things like mondaiji, no game no life, etc. seems those two have a same color palette in general sorta xD

sorry, im just a big fan of the fantasy genre and this stype of idea in general.

also, does different color palette's in anime make a difference to you?

It definitely does. It influences the tone of the show, or are you asking that for a podcast question?
