I mean it sucks. It's a sports where men handle balls with their feet. Do people watch this because they have a foot fetish?

Your father handles your balls to wake you up in the morning.
Do you wake up every morning cause you have an incest fetish?

I was never a fan of Soccer/Association Football myself.

When I was a kid, my favorite sport was Badminton. I would love to play it again, and I would also like to try Tennis, and Women's Lacrosse.

I like Badminton too but I was never considered good when my entire neighborhood/community is Asian.

I like that it's not a high intensity sport. There's tons of strategies to be made (see: One Outs!) and different roles for each player vs. something like soccer: goalie + attack + def.

Honestly, soccer is one of the few sports I'd actually associate with art. Because of stuff like this

And when it's not too artsy it's entertaining as hell, just watch that top 50 most shocking world cup moments video.

Your mind is so simple and basic, I kinda wonder... is it possible that you fell behind regular humans in evolution stages? I don't know, but I would begin to explain that undeveloped brain of yours.

That's because it's the ONLY sport New Zealand is good at. But to be fair, the All Blacks deserve to be the best in rugby.

I'm not saying soccer doesn't have strategies tho
It's just more about the moment of the game rather than pre-planning.

Because soccer on professional level requires highly complex techniques and peak stamina. The very scene of player dribbling a ball and several others trying to steal it while utilizing deceptions, quick maneuver, and some other techniques are just beautiful to look at, like how several dancers perform on the stage. It's manly. It's finer than spring. And it's highly entertaining. Some call it sport. I call it art.

Those pads only add more mass increasing the force of the impact and you still feel every single bit of the hit while wearing them.

I'm sure I'd enjoy that bit of baseball in the company of friends and beer, but I'd eventually stop giving any kind fucks about the game. And basketball is played at a much faster pace than soccer.

Soccer is too slow pace for me . . . I only enjoy reading manga for most sports (Baseball and soccer among others) Ironically considering it is fiction.

The only sports I can really watch are things like Lacrosse or Hockey since they aren't ridiculously slow paced. Yes, even Football (American Football) is ridiculously slow paced. Disagree with me? Then why does it take an hour and a half to go through 15 minutes of game time? As I said, slow paced. Soccer has primarily continuous play, however unlike in Lacrosse / Hockey, they don't really charge the goal nearly as often and instead play wide passing games for long periods of time.

Soccer or association football at its best is extremely fast paced. The English Premier League is well known for having the fastest style of play compared to all the other soccer leagues. And the international teams like Germany, last year's world champions show just how exciting and entertaining it is to see a team when they're working together and pushing forward.

Why do you think Brazil got raped?

^ this and golf

Anyways, people like soccer because a lot of people are raised watching it especially in Europe and many parts of Asia. Soccer is also an easily accessible sport to play (all you need is a ball and set the rules of where the goal should be) which is another reason to like the sport. Many people in poor countries usually play soccer because of this. I can understand why others don't like soccer. There are people just running down the field for 90 minutes and it takes forever to score which is similar to hockey thus a slow pace game. There are teamwork involved in soccer but not as much compare to American football where having a main coach is essential. Basketball is also quite similar to American football regarding teamwork but not as big since really an individual could pretty much run the team like the point guard.

One thing I like about soccer is that there aren't any motherf-ing damn time outs. I hate it when in NBA there's always that timeout + the free throws and in NFL the time outs as well. I understand why there are timeouts but it really does take a lot of your time as you have to watch them long commercials.

Another reason why to like soccer is the world cup (FIFA). Tons of nations participate it in and people actually care about winning whereas in basketball (FIBA) only a few nations can participate which is understandable since some don't know the sport in really poor nations as it cost money to build courts + hoops.

The only thing I have a problem with soccer is the amount of floppers. I get it that it's hard to tell if one is actually hurt or not compare to football/basketball where it's easier to tell but the amount of flopping is unreal.
