Almost, but not because of the anime, but just because that last performance was really, really good. Wow, the performer played increadibly there, the emotion was great. I had teared up, and I was ready to cry. But then kaori came in, made it joyful, and then started exploding which made me laugh a lot. Especcially Arima's "WTF" face. I couldn't stop giggling for a while after.

Other than that, the whole dynamic and development of Arima and his mother was really fantastic and almost made me tear up (not even cry, but just tear up). I'm really weak to that stuff after all. Nothing else really did much.

During the second half of the letter, and then while reflecting on everything during the final ED song with those visuals.

Nah, the 2nd/3rd of the finale was too confusing and random for me to cry when she died/when we find out she died/at the end of the anime.

Not at all..... Kaori's death was not "well done" I think.

Almost - But I think I didnt (threw the whole series) because somehow I already saw the end coming pretty early (without watching or reading any spoilers).

I watched so many animes recently and many made me cry, mostly (I guess) because the songs fitted pretty well with the atmosphere of the moment (Anohana, Toradora), but now I feel rather speechless than sad.

I got teary eyed and had to break out a tissue during the letter reading scene at the end. Other anime have made me cry more in the past though!

Im a simple man, i watch a well-wriiten anime and if it has as sad of an ending as this did, i cry, simple as that......with that being said, this is the only anime ive ever cried to. Verdict: 10 out of 10, favorite personal anime

I've just recently started watching this anime and after the episode in which Kaori collapses for the first time, I already knew how it's going to end... I'm not even half-way through yet, but knowing this makes me feel like crying already ;(

I watched it prior to when anime could actually make me break down, but I almost cried. Might have been because I was spoiled about the ending.

Yes.

I don't think the performance itself made me cry but the scene at the end when you find out the truth did. Amazing anime ♥

Same here. I just finished watching this anime and that end ... Even if I had the feeling that this could end like this I still have hope for happy ending. But again that ending:

I watched the ending, I couldn't help myself but cry like a little girl. Then ending was SO obvious and predictable, but I couldn't help it.

Exactly... I cry like little girl.. Damn and its looks like I'm still crying...

When I first watched episode 22 I was half asleep and rushed with time so I barely cried and the next day I was still processing what had happened and watched it again fully awake and cried for the first time from fiction

No, I don't cry that simply... I did get the feels though. What a ride... completely unexpected turns of events ._.

I usually don't get the feels unless the anime's story development is solid, so 10/10 in that category. :p I just can't really bother to feel anything if I can't really feel like I connected with the characters because the anime was short (12-13 episodes) or the development was just meh.

Yup, made me shed tears. Their last piece together was so well executed, nobody said anything, they were both silent the whole time, it was so bittersweet to watch.

It's really amazing how well the violin complements the piano.

I almost cry. This anime could never be forgotten. In my life I want to watch it time to time it realises me how life work and how to make comeback.

For my part, I don't cry that much in my life; let alone fictions!
But Shigatsu wa kimi no uso is one of the two fictional works that had me cry.

No because the show was a garbage.
I started watching it back in the day because it really looked nice but by the end of it looking nice was all this anime could give.
Reused scenes and lines were probably the worst part of it. I don't want to count how many times I heard "can you forget?" but choices characters made were also unrealistic. Music wasn't great either, it's not like it was really bad but it didn't suit the moments.

It's a shame that this anime has higher score and more members than Nana.
I'm watching anime since 2012. I also play games, sometimes.

Don't bother me if you want to 'become friends' or things like that.
It's tiresome. I know you just want to collect some meaningless numbers.
