guys if you want a real story with a mech setting i really recomend you gundam of this season , this one is just for moe blob fans like really this barely can be considered a mech series more of a sci-fi , slice of life anime.
Whats gonna happen on the last episode ? the machines gonna stop attacking felia just because she is moe ?

This show has been totally mis-advertised. It seems more like a slice of life with some fantasy elements. Where the fuck is the adventure part and what happened with the unique visuals the first advert showed. I mean dancing vegetables, fixing roofs and mechas is not what i signed up for. This show seems to be designed for families with children under the age of 10. The biggest annoyance is the main girl is essentially a big toddler. Also laughable villians who destroy pot plants, lol. Crap episode

agree with you
i just will finish this anime because i dont want to have a big drop list in my MAL
and its only 12 episodes so ... hm... yeah its bad that they are worst things this season.

Also, people saying that this is an anime for kids, I would disagree. Brave Beats is a children's anime running this season and so far it's been far more entertaining than this, despite being more absurd in the eyes of older audiences. I bet kids would have a better time watching BB than Comet Lucifer.

Well if this show is designed for teens and a young adults then it fails on nearly every level of story telling so far.

Well there seems to some people who enjoy it (aside from people commenting, the score is still above 6, meaning a majority of people are rating it above 6). What I meant though was that it if fails as a show for many teens/young adults, it also fails as a show for kids. I don't think kids want to see another kid that can barely talk (Felia), at all. I also don't think that it's safe for kids to see that "rape" face from last episode :P

Every new episode has been making this show worse than before. Stick with it anyway I guess to see if it improves.

A little better then the last episode. The dancing veggies were pretty silly. But it got a smile and a good chuckle out of me, so i guess it did its job.

I hope the show starts to change pace soon though. its starting to get REALLY boring...

I'm really bored and disappointed with this anime so far. Maybe I set my expectations to high since its an original work. The SOL moments of the anime aren't terrible but there are so many mysteries that I hope are to be answered in the next few episodes. Characterization is ok since we're seeing Felia & Mora learn more about the world but it sometimes just leaves you with more questions in the end.

FatefulLove said:
I'll just like this series to remain a little more consistent, while the dancing vegetables were pretty fun in itself, and fitting for Felia's innocence, the bowling strikes, and firework was a little overboard, as I doubt Felia saw those herself.
Yeah good point! I was wondering how she was able to emulate those kinds of things during the vegetable dance. Like you said, the creators were probably just having some fun with it.

Why was there a camera in the scarecrow
Haha good question, I was thinking about that as well. Seemed just way to convenient for the bad guys. If they are even bad guys at all since we don't know their actual motive besides obtaining Felia since she's a so-called Lima. Then again that dude just recruited a psycho sadistic murderer and a pedophile hacker to his team.

So they tell her not to use her powers in public last time and this time she's using them to serve customers...? Was last time completely forgotten?

I'm trying to figure out what exactly is this anime: Action/Mecha, Fantasy/Adventure or SOL? Jumbling all of them together isnt exactly working for me, the SOL bits are fine if that is what the show will revolve around (Adding some fantasy elements isn't bad either) but they're basically giving me SOL and then throwing in bits from other genres that should take the majority of the 4 episodes because they actually need some explaining and the reason this show was interesting to me.

This is so disappointing so far and her getting kidnapped is giving me some tiny hope that it's going to be more interesting next time but if it's not then I'm done giving this chances.

This episode pissed me off. A fracking typhoon is coming and it's announced on radio, but they're like " we have to go to school". Stupid plot, stupid episode.

Sheesh! Everything is to my taste, except as are setting the story and the narrative, what a waste of money, a lot of good entertainment thrown away. They give a regulated the authors and the director. I cry!

I don't understand hey people are disliking this. It's cute innocent family slice of life mixed In with Super/Real Robot.

For me the real draw of the show is how they invest in Felia. After years of seeing light novel adaptations sexualizing little girls under or look under 13 then seeing Felia being cute and innocent without being sexualized is such a breath of fresh air. Yeah, her licking in the second episode was pushing it but the was simply innocent.

I know the opening is leaning us onto believe Felia is a live interest for Sougo but so far she seems more like a little sister and ONLY a little sister for Sougo. In combination with Kaon makes the relationship more of a mother and father taking care of a daughter.

The show is innocent! Action is t the best but I can wait for that! The dancing vegetables was cute and it demonstrates what Felia's powers are truly capable of. Other characters get to shine and they only add to the charm of this show.

And when things get serious the tone shifts pretty smoothly. This show is about innocent family bonding and protecting that family. I just wish this show can get more respect.

I think watching a what looks like a 10 year old acting like a toddler is not far under sexualizing little girls. They are both annoying, and the latter being distubing. If Felia was like Naru from Barakamon, I would have zero complaints about her. The thing is the creators are pushing to make Felia really cute (like Noel from Sora no Method, although Noel feels more genuine). Let's say that it makes sense that Felia doesn't know anything since she just came out of a crystal, but she has a faster learning curve than a human baby. She should be acting like a toddler then, but this is not how toddlers act, and I would know since I've worked at a daycare center for infants and toddlers. She acts more like a pet, but one that can speak words occasionally and get a little angry. If you like Felia, then that's great, but people who don't like her or find her interesting will need another reason to like this series.

This show is not innocent...what kind of innocent series has a character going looney like this:

Yes I realized that you mean innocent by the family relationship, but if that was truly what this series was, it wouldn't need such terrible antagonists (the guy going on a killing spree in jail in episode 2 and the repulsive pedo in episode 3). If the show is not getting respect, it's most likely because of that purple hair glasses villain.

Yeah! I see your point. The direction is a bit off. Though most anime characters never act their ages at times I can agree that Felia is acting too immature. Maybe she will mature in due time.

Yeah, the pedo makes this not innocent but the family bonding is. And I laughed when you showed that picture. "Is this innocent?" And then show that picture. That made my day.

As long as Felia doesn't get super sexualized I will keep watching this show smoothly.

First Episode got me interested, but it looks like this is turning into a generic slice of life anime. It bugs me that no one even seems surprised at her powers at all.

I am doubting this is going to go anywhere.

Think this is a drop for me, there are better anime this season. May give it an episode more or so.

Any manga readers assuming there is one who can say if this is worth sticking with?

EDIT: none listed so original anime I guess. Well dropped for now may come back if I hear it gets better.

Glad it made you laugh :) I'm sure Felia will stay innocent for the rest of the show, so have fun watching it til the end.

I had to double check and make sure I wasn't high during the dancing vegetable scene.

It's not that I minded the scene itself...but they didn't need to make it 5 minutes long. 15 seconds of dancing vegetables? Yea, that's fine. All in good SoL fun.

Absolutely absurd that this doesn't even have a 7, yet OPM has almost a 9. Despite the fact that this does something different every episode while OPM uses the same repetitive gimmick as Charlotte.

Aeonenleben said:
No, noone is getting their wish since the anime is lacking in almost every aspect.
There is no real story so far 1/3rd through the whole anime and no character development at all.
All we got so far was an opening episode and dumb slapstick and moe-blob.

The only people happy are the people with low demand, so the ecchi and moe fans.
And since there is (at least) no Ecchi in this one only the later remain.

I don't agree with you in the least. I think you're just hating on the fact that it has moe and comedy at all and it isn't some dark edgy, plot twist filled masterpiece.

Which is fine. I dont particularly give any fucks about tastes nor want to debate about a show that's only 4 episodes in.

But as long as you have those opinions about this show and don't think that OPM is anime of the season, then they're ok. If you want to trash this shows story and tropes but say that OPM is good, then it would get a bit laughable.

Sougo really got the wrong timing there!
on no...but yeah right, Felia was easily kidnapped! no resistance whatsoever but that stone whatever that name is really useless! didn't even guard Felia...well as if it could protect felina in that stone form...
that was a lot of CG flying veggies! lot of wasted time!

Was Felia's display of power by making veggies dance supposed to be entertaining? WASTE OF POTENTIAL.

Bull-fucking-shit.

Lol did I just watch a Disney animation? Dancing plants?

Actually the scene to me felt very similar to the scene in The Sword in the Stone where Merlin's cups and pots start dancing. Except, that scene felt very much alive and the objects were sometimes even charming. Here, the awful CGI and bland choreography made it a very cringe worthy scene.

I'm ok with taking a little time to develop characters and their perrsonalities but honestly what was the point of the first 15 miinutes......

guys, if you think something is bad, then just do it for the lolz. thats how to make live simplier. dont be hard to your self.

ok, as for my self, the sol part of this series is pretty dull and lot of things happened unreasonable. and dark part not deliver much. i cant take it seriously when one of the enemy is like wierdos psycho.

I swear you people went into this show expecting edgy mcedgelord shit and are just groaning because it's not what you expected. This anime and virtually everything about it is like a Disney film. The setting is Disney-esque, the soundtrack is Disney-esque, even the antagonists are Disney-esque. It's cute, innocent, and childish. Complaining because of that when that is exactly what the show is trying to be is stupid. There are legitimate reasons to complain about the series, but the fact that it has things like dancing vegetables is not because it fits the tone of the series perfectly.

And it was a fucking great scene, too.

No one expects dancing vegetables.

lol

I mentioned this before I think but I think this show would work better as a happy slice-of-life series. Trying to add in bad guys and suspense and some kind of plot is coming off as messy. The character design and world design is great, I would have liked if they made an Aria kind of series that just observes what life is like in that world.

Well this episode was awfully slice-of-life-y ... until the ending that is. Dancing vegetables what o_O Then we've got those old people and the kidnapping at the end ... I mean, IDK having a party and everything before the big storm? Then they finally go to school (after having not gone forever it seems) but it's cancelled and Sogo goes back and misses Felia (of course) and just ... what?! IDK man, but I don't really understand this show ... I mean I enjoyed this episode, but it's like this show can't decide if it wants to be a lighthearted SOL or a mecha show with plot. I'm confused T_T I mean it seems like next episode they KIND of want to do plot with getting Felia back ... *sigh* Let's hope this gets better :S

Surprised some folks don't like Disney...don't need mal to tell me this show, Gargantia, Plastic Memories, etc all have prominent SOL.
Anyways great SOL moments, bird suit, loved the silly dancing veggies, Felia faces, her emotions affecting the bbq fire, and many coming-of-age moments where she needs to grow up, especially "mom & pop" leaving her, self restraint, and noticed she hasn't learned the word "sorry" yet. Roman's quite funny, poor design taste & kabedon. It also provides a stronger contrast to the kidnap, even though that was expected since ep1 so no surprise.
Glimpse of Sogo's mom. Astronomy council's prophecy, still lots of mystery.
So Chamot can restrain Felia and split into pieces!?
