| I definitely wouldn't want to be Japanese and live in Japan. I'm actually 1/8 Japanese, but we have no longer have any connection with the Japanese side of my family. My great grandmother on my mom's side went to China to study in the early 1930s and was forced to change her name after Japan invaded China in 1937. I suppose it would have been cool to be exposed to two different cultures and languages as a child. |

| Nah, I'm fine being Mexican-American. I like my dark brown skin, and also the food is just delicious. lol. I do wish that I lived in Japan though. Despite it's social issues (gay marriage, suicide rate, and racism) but some of those issues are pretty small compared to just how welcoming everybody is over there and friendly to each other. I like the sense of community they have over there and would very much like to experience it myself. Oh, also anime and stuff. |
