| I absolutely fucking hate Kaori Miyazono shes so annoying forcing Kousei Arima to play even though hes obviously been through some rough shit. I don't even care if shes been through worse, I hope she dies at the end. Im on episode 6 should I force myself to watch it hoping for something to change or not? |

| It's pretty good at least for me. Kaori left a bad taste in my mouth, but YLIA was an ok melodrama (which is a genre I don't like to being with) so.... It all depends on you, but Kaori gets more and more spotlight so I would drop it |

| It's objectively offensive because of what you described. It's a common criticism so you'd be better off dropping it if you're like me and can't bear to watch Arima being bullied by the female cast any longer. |

A few months ago I saw it had a very high rating so I decided to finish it. It definitely picks up midway through and is quite rewarding overall. I ended up giving it a 9/10. I do agree that Kaori can be a bit insufferable at times, but I think if you finish watching you'll understand why. |

| What? To my interpretation, Kaori is only trying to bring Kousei out of that shell of his. Kousei seems to view music as nothing but hard work while Kaori just wants Kousei to lighten up and have a fun time with what was his hobby. I don't really see what's so bad about that. With that said, I'm enjoying the show so far but it guess we just have different tastes. It's your decision whether to drop it or not. |

I got thru them by treating them as longer music videos (u know those 4 minute MVs that keep cycling 3 same scenes). Since it's "MV" like, best to not marathon it. Like watch weekly so any repetitiveness or Kaori annoyance won't kill your patience, and the pleasant art & music becomes the key focus. what you say is true but Im a full blown binge watcher when it comes to anime, and Im starting to like this anime now ever since the performance when he let go of the notes and played his heart out like Kaori-bitch. This music in this anime never fails to amaze me. |

| I dropped it at episode 5 for exactly the same reason. I could not stand the wimpy MC and the abusive female characters and I've been told those things do not really get better. Also this: galimx said: No, rather watch Nodame Cantabile. Much better. |
