Re-enforcing his learn't and probably parental beliefs that homosexuals are deviants only causes problems later on not acceptance. I fail to see the good in feeding a young mans hatred of something that at first would have just been taught hate without any basis in his actual life but you would have given him personal experiences and fuel to redouble his bias. You don't cure a mans hatred of women by forcing him to attend a feminist rally for example. you may have felt you were punishing his ignorance but that you only helped make it grow stronger. If he did cruel things to homosexual pupils don't you think making him hate homosexuality more through jokes would only make any future suffering at the mans delusions worse for those types? We cannot spread peace with hate. |
