"[b]The difference between education and brainwashing is paper thin."
"Moping around with sadness and sorrow...what will come of it? Even dead people can do that.
However, I'll live and stand on my two legs. If we are going to die someday, wouldn't it be better to have no regrets?"
"If you are crying, fight against it! If you are regretting, walk forward! Only complaining on your misfortune, you're nothing more than a common pig!"
"Humans cannot reject temptation. When they are plunged into the depths of despair likened to hell, they will hold onto anything that may help them escape from the situation they are in."
"You're another person so of course you look different. What do you need to be ashamed for?"
"You fought to protect your world. Isn't that good enough? After all, justice in this world is just a bunch of principals made by those with power to suit theirselves. No one really thinks of others, you will lose everything if you can't catch up.
Only two kinds of people exist in this world. Those who steal and those who are stolen from. So then...today I just stole your future. That's all."

"In all those who feel love, there lies the capacity for hate".

"You fell into darkness...how can you not count that as weakness?"
-Noblesse quote
"Why don't you buy paper books? E-books lack character. Books are not something to read words in. They're also a tool to adjust your senses. When I'm not feeling well, there are times that I can't take in what I read. When that happens, I try to think about what could be hindering my reading. There are books that I can take in smoothly even when I'm not feeling well. I try to think why.
It might be something like mental tuning. What's important when you tune is the feeling of the paper that you're touching with your fingers and the momentary stimulation your brain receives when you turn pages."

and the best for last...
"We talked about what would happen if we died here...But's that's to people we know. To the general society, us dying won't affect them at all...Life will continue for them as if nothing had happened.
Well, if such small existence such as me died, we would leave behind out bodies. Water, Carbon, Ammonia, Lime, Phosphorus, Niter, Sulfur, Fluorine, Magnesium, Iron, Manganese, Aluminium, Silicon...That's right. Our bodies are composed of those and a couple hundreds of other compounds. It's eventually going to be broken down by bacteria and become nutrients for the plants, but those plants will be fed to vegetarian animals, and meat-eating animals will eat those vegetarian animals. It's going to be circulated to places we don't even know.
A flow of life...Too large to be seen by eyes. Although I'm not sure if that refers to the world or the universe..
Al, you and I are both small parts of that flow of life. We are part of it. The entire universe is formed of the parts coming together. We are all living according to countless universal rules.
Destroying and rebuilding objects according to those "rules", is what we call Alchemy."
