| How about that, a thread I can actually answer to logically :) Actually it's my SON that's in highschool, not me. I haven't been inside a classroom since the 70s. And if you want, if yer older than 29 (cause we only allow 30 and over), you can always join us in MAL The Laters years. |

| I just got this quarters grades. Holy shit, I'm doing way better than I did in HS. My HS grades bounced around a 2 GPA, but now I'm getting 3.5s and such. I guess that's what happens when you don't have to deal with High School bullshit anymore. |

Well, in Russia, it's extremely hard to find a job that pays decent wages even with a university diploma. Basically because nobody cares about your education (even if having higher education is usually a requirement), but only about how well you could kiss their asses at the job interview. So, even people with university diplomas are often forced to work as janitors, newspaper deliverers, taxi drivers (if they have a driving license) etc here (average salary is around $200-400 per month, depending on the region, working hours and stuff). |
