>Vietnamese anime

In what world?

I'd be good with SE Asian anime from Malaysia or Singapore because it could be in English

But a lot of animation studios do hire Korean animators to animate side stuff, America included. So they would probably be the most likely.

I'd watch it if it is entertaining. Just how I don't just watch anime now, and if another country adopted anime then it wouldn't really affect me.

Avatar: The Last Airbender is my favorite anime.
I’m just excited to see my Lord and Savior, Baphomet, represented in such glorious Italian stone. I do hope his eyes gaze upon me and that my allegiance is recognized.

Maybe we will make more of something like this.

We just didn't have budget for it.
Kickstarter for Rokujouma is fully funded. Good work everyone. Lets wait for the result of our hard work together.

Korea probably won't make good anime, China is iffy, if anyone other than the Japanese will be good at anime it'll be the Taiwanese.

China currently has the biggest potential to throw out some hard-hitting animation titles, since their film industry has really kicked off in the last 2 decades.

And they KNOW how to animate: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eA0JVAeSibc

The problem is most of their "anime" go under only one theme, fantasy historical.

And more Chinese people are into Japanese Anime, fyi.

They're required by law to do this though, cultural revolution and whatnot. Though Wuxia novels can be interesting it gets overdone.

I know, but that's why it can't be more famous. Because they don't have variety. I would get sick of the same Ghibli historical shit if Anime was only limited to that.

I would know that, I'm chinese and I grew up with stuff like Bao Lian Deng (Lotus Lantern) and Ne Cha before moving towards Pokémon & anime before migrating to AUS.

How would this change your view on anime? If at all.
Yes if it's Chinese, no for the other ones. I'd get into Chinese anime because I'm fluent in it. One thing that annoys me is that the names are hard to memorize. Japanese names more simple like "Yuki" or "Megumi" because they have a nice ring to it. Chinese names are like "Dai Xiao Long" or "Fu Sheng Wai" like damn son.

I would totally watch chinese wuxia/xinxia novel adaptions.

As for Korean ones, there are already good manhwas out so the transition won't be bad at all.

I just find Japanese names more easy to remember, dunno why. Maybe because I was born in Canada and exposed to English names my entire life.

I've been exposed to English and Japanese names most of my lifetime, so that's why I find them easier to remember.

If the quality was up to par with japanese animation I wouldn't mind watching it. As it is though other countries are going to take years to catch up to japanese animation from what I've seen.
Memories may fade, but that doesn't mean there isn't any point in making them.

They are, but the problem is they're restricted in the content.

Other countries can't create anime. It's intrinsically Japanese. Theoretically it would be possible for some really, really dedicated and skilled people to make something indistinguishable from anime, but I doubt it will ever happen. Even if it did, it would be just a few self-published OVAs or ONAs here and there.

Some anime are made with English VA's. I really don't mind if it is japanese, chinese, american, german, arabian or any language as long as I can understand it or supported by subs it's perfectly fine.

Heard the 2012 Star trooper Movie? You should check it.

Never underestimate other countries bro. Anime came from western cartoon by default. Most anime are influence by western culture.

That was over half a century ago. Anime and Western animation very quickly went their separate ways and are now completely different.
