| Wow the execution this episode, on a completely different level from the lackluster first cour (besides the Kurokono arc). Time to up this from a 9 to a 10 lol Been waiting for Kondo to show his badass side more, did not disappoint. Also the art/animation for the ED, like damn son, this is some cinema shit |

| I think it's the first time we saw a part of Kondo's past. Great episode with a funny first part and motivational second part. Kondo is a good man (monkey). The next episode looks awesome because Katsura will be here! |

| Couldn’t stop laughing when Hijikata was hit by rocks. I loved Kondo’s backstory and he actually rised in my fav character rankings. Not so fun of the opening, but the ending is amazing! |

| Nice patrol Kondo. Is this guy like that underwear thief from Episode 18? I love that Gintoki's only line the entire episode was "Wait, what's the meaning of this?" Edo seems to have a lot of these Robinhood folk. Poor Hijikata, getting pelted with stones and blown up by a grenade. It's as if Okita has inspired the entire universe to harass Hijikata. Of course there is a banana on a shrine! Of course! Hijikata knew all along, lol. I was going to ask for more context as to how radishes can be arousing, but then Gintama went and gave a radish thighs, which is the most applicable r/ConfusedBoners I've ever seen. The school has definitely downgraded, but it's nice to see one of Kondo's classmates continue its legacy. Kondo showing up in his Shinsengumi outfit was awesome. I love that he was using all of the thief techniques while slaughtering those chumps. The sensei died a peaceful death. Kondo couldn't have done anything better. And now Kondo acts as his sensei's disciple on the side of the law. Beautiful. The theme of the next episode is... afros? I'm confused, but also very intrigued. |
