Izanami Arc Confirmed ?

In the Opening, at the frame right after Nora (1:09) is this a spotlight from the Izanami Arc with Ebisu ? If so it really makes me wonder how much they'll cut for this to fit in 12 episodes.

The opening has a BUNCH of stuff in it that shouldn't be in an opening dedicated solely to the Bishamon arc... I'm worried that this will turn into a Tokyo ghoul and rush everything. And I know BONES isn't playing around and teasing the Ebisu arc, because when you see Yato fighting with Ebisu, he's not wielding Yukine, just like in the manga. Izunami's (or sakura??) presence disturbs me, as well as chibi Yato looking at the shrine. The opening covers a ton of material and that makes me very nervous.

There are 6 Blu-ray volumes containing 13 episodes. It's not known at this point whether all 13 will air or if one of them is an unaired episode.

I think 24 episodes is unlikely. Bones has a lot on their plate with Shiraiyuki, Concrete Revolutio, Bungou Stray Dogs and Noragami. That said, I will be really disappointed if they cut out material to fit both arcs into 12 episodes, especially if they begin to cut corners with the animation because of schedule constraints. There were some pretty rough frames in the opening which is unusual for them

I don't think they could, unless the show were to be 24 episodes, which is very unlikely. Hopefully they hint to it and leave it for another season.

My friend and I have been discussing it and it's quite clear they are covering the Ebisu arc in Aragoto because of Yato's dad in the opening, Yato and Ebisu fighting, Izanami as you pointed out, baby Yato, and Yato's shrine appearing in the ED. I think putting it in 12 episodes will cause both arcs to be rushed and lose a lot of emotional impact, so I'm holding out for 24. MAL did have it listed as 12 and now it's unknown, so I can hope.
