Hopefully Luffy's finally gonna get back to fighting Doffy again.

Robin showed that she's not just a pretty face and an easy target, Hakuba looking as creepy as ever.

Overall a lot more stuff happening this episode and a massive upgrade from the last one.

Cavendish was creepy af this episode. I'm really curious to know the explanation behind this.

God I love Bartolomeo. And what a great shining moment for Robin. Anyone know the theme that played at the end when she caught Hakuba? Please?!

Pretty brutal episode.

Bartolomeo fanboying over Robin was funny.

Love seeing Hakuba going crazy!

Cabbage being restrained so easily was a little anti climactic imo. On one hand it was nice to see Robin actually being useful in a fight for a change, but on the other we've been getting teased with Cabbage's *other self* and how powerful he is throughout this entire arc. Now we finally get to see it and not only is he easily countered by Robin, but Bartolomeo too.

I guess you can argue it was just bad luck that he happened to be near probably the only 2 people on the Island who could deal with him that easily. It makes me wonder how powerful he actually is, in comparison to powerhouses like Luffy and Doffy.

Terrible pacing. Half of the episode was just the screen panning over still frames in slow motion. Almost nothing happened this episode.

They should just go on hiatus and resume when enough manga chapters are available.

Cavendish's power (actually Hakuba's power) is specifically his incredible speed of locomotion. It's deadly, given the right situation.

Someone with a strong, robust defence will brush off Hakuba's attacks. Someone that uses fast, long-range abilities (or firepower) that is hard to anticipate can break his sprint if he is charging from a long distance: This is what Robin did. Someone with equal or greater speed of locomotion can match and counter him: Gear Second could be close to his speed.

Intangibility (like Logia users) and/or immense physical strength are the two evident counters to Robin's DF ability. Habuka doesn't seem to possess either of those.

This was creepy ass episode. And why didn't he just put a barrier on Cavendish?

Great stuff happening this episode, but the pacing is really killing me. Hopefully they'll just have this extremely slow lead up end with an extremely well-paced final battle with Doflamingo.

Bartolomeo and his fanboying xD
I think Hakuba wrecked Dellinger harder than the manga ^^
He sure is hella fast when in that Hakuba form.

I love that everyone has started calling Cavendish, not just Luffy. And Bartolomeo was awesome as always.

Okay episode, I'm just not really interested in Hakuba, especially compared to Luffy vs Doffy. So it was good... but...

Why wouldn't she be able to user her power against fast people?

EDIT:

OP movies are just high-quality fillers. The only one I watched was Strong World, which was the only OP movie to date that was written by Oda himself.

So that settles the question whether Hakuba is indeed faster than dellinger ; yes, not even close o_O He's probably fastest OP char to date holy shizz. Would've been nice if he took out gladius as well before turning to niwatori-kun, but that doesn't make for good action of course, someone else needs that fight ;)

I was actually wondering how Zoro would fare against him... So far in his current fight he's been far less impressive than Hakuba.

It only seems that way because Pika keeps playing hide-and-seek.

I think it's more because of the anime's pacing :)
Hiding shouldn't matter if Zoro learned to use Haki from Mihawk, which I'm guessing he should have.
Think of Enel's Mantra as an example.

Yeah, the anime makes it seem worse.

Zoro hasn't been really struggling fighting him directly as much as looking where he hides, and we all know he needs a GPS GPS Devil Fruit

Yeah he definitely looked fine, just not fighting back in any interesting/impressive way.
I don't believe we have seen Zoro's full power since the timeskip, and I doubt that will be it :/

"So what kinda vendish is he?" hahaha Bartolomeo ftw! Seriously though I forgot that Cavendish was also a Jinchuriki and that when he falls asleep, he goes on a rampage. Anyway I'm glad that Robin was able to neutralize him immediately. It's nice to see her do some badass stuff from time to time.

I really don't understand the background behind Cavendish yet or to never know, but Cabbage probably has some broad detail behind his life, just as much as the characters that were introduced so far. To tell you honestly, I'd love to see a bit more on Cavendish in the near future, before they hit 1000 episodes on One Piece. I think that's gonna be a really big hit.

Hakuba vs. Dellinger??
That wasn't a fight, it was a (well-deserved) one sided massacre!
He got his fighting fish butt whooped! Hopefully Ideo is okay though.

Loved the Cavendish/Hakuba and Bartolomeo interactions...I sense a budding reluctant bromance with those two.

Robin once again proving she's not to be messed with & I love love loved that OST that played during her scene at the end there. I don't think she's anywhere near Hakuba's strength, but I do think she's probably the worse match-up for him whilst he's in that state.

Sure, he's supremely strong, but there's much less tact and he's practically unconscious...I don't think he's gonna be able to counter her DF like that.
