| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- LOL, Mr Satan is so priceless to watch. Eh, I think the power struggle between Beerus and Goku reached yet another climax in the universe. Felt a bit dragged but got its point across. Glad to see Whis becoming more relevant as well. That ending though....Goku getting all fired up again. I think both are finding this fight to be quite fun or something. |

| That jump in power tho, Goku confirmed multi galaxy level and Beerus confirmed Universal level.... Super feats are over the top, makes me wonder how theyre going to handle the future fights, multiversal? lol |

| So if we got a new ED we get a new OP too? I hope so, cause I don't really like the one we have now :x Besides that we had 3,5 episode screaming, exchanging blows and powering up so far. Old DBZ style. Makes me remember how many episodes Goku vs Freeza took XD Satan takes the opportunity to become the hero who saves the world again. Why am I not surprised? ^^ And gosh I really hoped we get a small glimpse of Goku's SSJG SSJ form in this episode :< |
| Did anyone notice Mai and the Pilaf dude were sleeping and didn't notice that Earth was close to be destroyed? So Gohan and the others finally fly back to the ship. They spent all that time resting. Go Vegeta, throws ki blast at Picollo because he wouldn't let go of Whis. lol The fight was good, mainly the 2nd half. The power struggle in my opinion was a bit dragged out. However, the second half was real good. Aside from Goku changing back to SSJ form, he still put in some good hits on Beerus. Nice OST right before the credits showed. How strong would Goku be if he used Kaio Ken while still in God form or even with his boosted power in SSJ form? |

| The second half after the resistance bit was pretty damn good. I felt like the animation was better when Goku went back to SSJ for some reason XD And the animation in the preview is looking to be the overfluid out of line fast animation. Hope it'll be good |

| 13. Goku, Go Surpass Super Saiyan God! Original Airdate: October 4, 2015 As the light clears Goku and Beerus' energy clash continues. Elder Kai notes that when it ends the universe will as well. Whis confirms as much to Mister Satan on earth, who, thinking of his unborn daughter and grandchild, begs him to save them. When Whis refuses all be and Gohan can do is shield Videl with their bodies. Eventually the struggle concludes and...the universe is spared! Mr. Satan thinks it was his doing and immediately takes steps to capitalize on the accomplishment. In reality Beerus was able to nullify the energy and spare the universe, but only by finally using 100% of his power. Goku is shocked to learn Beerus was still holding back, but the God of Destruction explains he would have felt embarrassed having to fight with full power against a saiyan. Now however he only cares about winning. As the two continue to fight Goku loses his red God's aurra. Piccolo and his sons can now sense Goku's ki meaning...he's no longer a god! Whis declares the fight finished, but Vegeta's not sure. Beerus notices that Goku, now a regular Super Saiyan in appearance, is still occasionally displaying the same level of power as before. Goku, who didn't even realize he powered down, must've absorbed the strength of Super Saiyan God into his body naturally over time! Phew! Long summary this time! :D Pretty fun episode yet again. Mr. Satan and Gohan shielding Videl was definitely an aww moment. :D That little scene with Whis and Piccolo was nice. I woulda enjoyed seeing Whis smack him around a bit. :D Given what we know from Battle of Gods I remain skeptical of Whis' claim that he couldn't have stopped them this week, but it could be a retcon I suppose. Not too much else to say this week, still enjoying much of the fight choreography, like the headbutting. :D Seems like we'll finally reach a conclusion next week...maybe. :D We got a new ending theme this week. It's alright, but I definitely prefer the first in all aspects. Also found it weird how the visuals almost make it seem like Bulma is Goku's wife. I get their history and all that...but still! :D Rating: 7/7 This Week in Buu: Briefly seen on the ship near the beginning. Did You Notice?: Pizza and the boys from the Cell Games filler appear again. Next: Conclusion??? |

| My biggest problem with DBS was the fight choreography. This episode fixed than and I hope they keep it up. Not as good as DBZGT but getting better. |

| meh i wanna see shock waves from the clash of gods that destroys multiple planets, stars and even galaxies but it did not happen because of plot armor of saving the Earth from destruction oh well at least they implied that Goku can also destroy the universe by himself now |
| Respect for Mr. Satan trying to save Earth and protect his daughter. I lol'd when Vegeta just sent a ki blast at Piccolo then goes back to looking at the sky. Looks like the fight finally ends next episode. Nice new ED btw |

| Is it just me or the animation in this episode was the best so far? Beside that, the episode was pretty good and looks like the fight will end in the next one. Also, we have a new ED which I kinda don't like, probably because its new and need to get used to it. I hope we don't get a new OP because I like this one a lot. |
| The animation after goku ran-out of SSJ God powers was a bit impressive! just like the movie! the only thing missing is the BGM of FLOW (movie)! 4/5. |

| The fight was obviously dragged on quite a bit but the animation seemed good throughout the episode. I liked the part where Hercule tries to give Whis an all you can eat thing to get him to save everyone lol Vegeta's random energy blast was pretty funny too. Glad to see the fight finish next episode. |

I wouldn't go so far as to say the animation in that scene was as impressive as it was in the BOG movie. There certainly was nothing wrong with the visuals in this episode, it was the best visuals that we've had so far in this anime, but even so, the animation was by no means anywhere close to being outstanding. I'm with you when it comes to the soundtrack however, it is lacking somewhat. |

| The first half of the episode was a bit repetitive, but overall, I liked this episode. The only thing I don't really get is what exactly happened to Goku's power level. Beerus explained the God Energy is now part of Goku, so does that mean Goku is as strong as he was in God Mode, even in regular Super Saiyan form? And if so, how come the others can't read his vastly increased Ki level? |

If you want 2 episode fights go watch Fairy Tail. Glad Toei is keeping it like the original. I would need like 6 hands to count how many episodes Frieza vs Goku took.
