What a funny episode. Rebecca is definitely my favorite character
And damn, 2 twists in 20 minutes!
Fujiko vs Rebecca, who will win...

I think Fujiko is going to win in the end, she will always be a main character for the series. But I'd like to see Lupin and Rebecca in a serious relationship for at least some episodes.

lol I thought that Fujiko and Rebecca would fall in love with each other until they said it was the first person they saw when drinking the wine

That was pretty insane.

It was nice to see Fujiko chasing Lupin for a change, and her rivalry with Rebecca was fast and intense.

Lupin was like a harem hero, a new direction for him but one that fits him very well LOL he tried to take them both in the end and they hit him.

But
was freaking macabre. If it wasn’t for that part I’d have fully enjoyed this episode.

This episode was absurdly good. One of the best Lupin episodes yet.

Vengeance of everyone's grudge.

What a choice for Lupin - of course he would choose both... a threesome with Fujiko and Rebecca would be worth dying for! LOL

Poor Lupin didn't get to smash xD Still, I wouldn't be able to chose between Fujiko and Rebecca either

And I did not expect to find out that the woman was swimming in that barrel of wine dead O_O

Lol this episode was so funny. Rebecca vs Fujiko...and Lupin being the center of the drama. I have to say, these three has quite an amusing chemistry this episode. Hope to see more of this in the future.

So it seems I'm off by an ep fro-sama reason, but anyway it brings me back to an older episode, much older (old vinegar lol :), nice to see a love battle for Lupin.

Japanese Episode 10

You know, for such a fun initial premise that end reveal was rather gruesome. He murdered his own wife in what brought them both together...yeesh. :(

Anyway I'm not sure who won that round of Fujiko vs Rebecca, but it wasn't Lupin. :D Big stuff about to go down with our over-arching plot it seems, involving all the players.

I loved this episode! So great to see Fujiko and Rebecca together. Not sure if that's heaven or hell for Lupin though... haha.

Lupin and Rebecca make a better couple than Lupin and Fujiko. It feels more sweet and genuine to me

Ah I remember the good old days when they have nuclear bomb and weight detection
Just use balloon to float lol xD

Jigen, this is not the first time you encountered a person who can dodge bullets :P

Nix or Nyx (?) is ridiculous, he's kinda out of place in this kind of anime
But maybe he'll make things interesting later on

No screentime for good old Pops Zenigata :(

Rebecca was captured by the MI6, and they went as far as torturing her and planning her death. Imagine what they would do to the "average" person when they were about to erase someone who is super famous, and rich. But well, fortunately her butler saw her being taken away, and asked Lupin and his team for help.

Fujiko was the MVP here and allowed Lupin to take control over the agents, and use them to get Rebecca back. But her butler, with what I believe to be a mere bluff, made Nyx go berserk and they aren't exactly safe yet. The "Dream of Italy" also seems to be something that the man Rebecca loved left behind. Can't wait to see what Lupin is going to find out.

The MI6 episode.

I'm starting to feel conflicted about Nyx and Rebecca. While they're entertaining characters as such. they look like replacements for Zenigata and Fujiko, not different enough from the original characters. Also, Nyx had one more Matrix moment, and whenever MI6 is involved there's always a James Bond feel.

I guess it's fine, but these constant references to American/British pop culture are also making the series less special, as those abound in a lot of series, Japanese or not. Lupin's always had allusions to a lot of things, from Japanese classics to European literature, so I feel that it's lost something that made it special because now it's much more commonly referring to popular movies and not so much other things. Also, those references aren't used in a particularly clever way, but are supposed to be amusing as the viewer recognizes the parody. It's a subtle difference, but I think such things were used differently before, so that even if one didn't recognize the allusion the plot point still would have been funny.

We're finally getting to "the Italian Dream", whatever it is. Probably will get explained in next episode.

Nyx's fight scenes looked awesome, by the way. Way to spend animation budget.
