Great first episode. While I didn't think it was a 5/5 episode, it did what I thought the first episode of a second seasons should do. It reminds the audience of some smaller things (opening itself for viewers who for whatever reason, didn't see the first season). It has great comedic moments, and it showed us pretty much EVERY character we've come into contact with thus far. It also hints at what is to come. So while the action wasn't so intense, I thought the pacing was great. Beautiful art as always. Man, whenever they zoom in on Yato's eyes, I can't help but appreciate that. And yes, love the new OP and ED!
Super psyched! I don't have a lot of fall animes in the line up - but this one along with Haikyuu, are at the top of the list! Can't wait for next week!
The OP and ED are amazing, I loved both of them a lot. I think I liked them better than the first season's, personally.
Great episode, I haven't gotten around to reading the manga even though I wanted to pick it up after watching the first season, but at least now I won't know what's happening so now it's all brand new to me. Maybe I'll actually read it after Aragoto ends, but I'm looking forward to this season!
It's been over a year since we last saw our favourite minor God Yato. I was pretty somewhat hyped for this season, since I did like the first season.
OP and ED are okay, but S1 was better. But yeah, first episode pretty much ignores the last three episodes of S1, which were nothing but filler. Anyways, leaving that aside, the episode itself was good. We already get to know how the whole cour's gonna be like and what it's gonna be about. But yeah, the Anime is pretty much the same as the first season, which I approve of. Seeing Yato up to his old antics again, Hiyori's cute as hell as usual, and Yukine'll probably get a new buddy!
Yay so happy that Noragami is back!!! Honestly really enjoyed the first episode, it gave off a very nostalgic feeling and also really excited for the Bishamon arc and can't wait to see what this season has to offer.

I am an anime OST Maniac and they play a huge role in my rating for a anime.

It was really nice to see all the characters back again after all this time - it feels just like season 1, which is a good thing. I liked the new OP, the animation and OST is top-notch as usual, and it looks like something interesting is set to go down between Yato and Bishamon ... looking forward to this!
So excited for this!!!! I loved the first season and I'm all caught up on the manga. I'm feeling stressed because I think Bones is going to try to push two arcs (and possibly more?? Looking at you, opening) into 12 episodes. Please don't let me down D:
Also! I don't want to say much because I've read the manga, but I encourage everyone to watch the opening a few times. Lots of interesting tidbits in there :)

I think you're confusing the what happened in the manga with this episode due to you reading it already in the manga.Everything that happened in this episode was definitely new material and hasn't been portrayed in the anime until now.
Pretty good first episode. The op was really catchy. I do not like it as much as the first one, but I have the feeling that it will grow on me. The comedic bits were gold as always, Yato going on about his shrine again lol this never gets old.
Probably more action in the next episode.
After being disappointed with how Noragami ended, I admit that I had some trepidation going into this episode of Noragami Aragoto. But I found myself pleasantly surprised by this episode. I found that I remembered a lot of the basics from the first season, so I was able to quickly get into the episode. In a lot of respects, this episode contained a lot of elements that I liked from the first season.
This was enjoyable to watch, and I'm hoping the rest of the series can live up to what I saw here. There's a lot of promise here, and I'd hate to see it fall apart. I'm also hoping that Noragami Aragoto won't conclude with a vague ending like the first season did.
