| Dragon Ball Z is still one of my favorites, purely based off the power of nostalgia, even though I now don't think the show is very good at all. It has a lot of cool moments and good character designs, but considering the entire show, filler and all, it is the epitome of an average anime. |

| I can't even remember my first anime, well it was probably Windaria, Macross, Captain Future, Transformers Victory, Ninja Senshi Tobikage, Voltron well it's hard. I sure still appreciate them but now I prefer incest anime so no, not my fav lol |

| my first subbed anime was death note i think. i don't really care for it. if we are talking dubbed when i was a kid, then absolutely yes. i watched dbz as a kid and it's in my top 5 animes now. always a classic. |
My first anime was MAR, and I liked it for a while until it got outrageously predictable, and I was only 7 when I made this conclusion. My "Gateway" Anime that got me into the medium was Naruto. I loved that show growing up, and it effectively was my favorite show from ages 7-15. But then I got tired of all the outrageous filler episodes. The show killed it's own quality by not caring about the original story line, and didn't even mention Sasuke's name for over 200 episodes in a row durring shippuden. It would've been best if the show stuck to it's original storyline and ended gloriously, but Masashi Kishimoto was asked to alter the storyline to make it longer, and the reason there are so many fillers is because he had to make up stuff as he went. Naruto once was one of my favorite shows, I was one of the first people to start watching it and to like it before it became mainstream. Unfortunately, I do not share that same love any more. TL,DR??? Neither of the first anime I've viewed are my currently favorites. |
