Accel World (light novel)
| How faithful is the adaptation? I noticed YenPress is finally up to Vol 5 so I was thinking of picking up the series. I already have the anime so if the adaptation is nearly 1-1 then it'd be kind of redundant to buy volumes 1-4 as well. |
KYPRIME said: the anime is 1-1 to the light novels, but obviously you'll get more untold details about the characters and story perspective form the books, even the manga has some new things that aren't in the anime like the tennis episode or the silver crow vs kirito cross over, if you're a big fan of Accel World you should experience the light novels and the manga beside the anime, since we'll never get another season for the anime, the light novels and the manga is all we've got but if you're not that big of an Accel World fan and you just want to see what's happening next, you can definitely skip the first 4 volumes thank you! exactly the type of response i was looking for. |
