How to fix the review section, detailed here

The average reader (HS level) reads at about 200 WPM. So a 500-800 word review should take 3-5 minutes to read. That's an acceptable length for something you're interested in spending 25 minutes to 4.5 hours of your life watching.

Oh, and ANN requires any and all reviews to be 800-1200 words, no matter the length of the show.

@ Lawlmartz,

This is just a top 50 of terrible movies I've personally seen. I'm not saying these are the only terrible movies out there. There are a LOT of terrible movies that I didn't put on this list. For example, The Core is a terrible fucking movie, but it had decent special effects for its time and isn't quite as inept as some of these others.

I also avoided mentioning films that I personally hated, but objectively were mediocre. For example, I laugh very easily, but the comedy "Accepted" didn't even make me crack a smile. I also despise "16 Candles".

I also avoided movies I largely despise for political reasons and doing a horrible job accomplishing their supposed goal, but were otherwise competent. For example, "The Constant Gardner" is a movie written by a schlock spy novelist that won praise from the far left for taking on corporate corruption. Instead of actually choosing a REAL instance of corporate corruption of which there are MANY, the movie focuses on an evil Pharm company doing horrific human experiments in Africa to try make a super virus and gain unfathomable wealth by selling the antidote to only the wealthiest. The movie's tone is DEAD SERIOUS. Basically the plot is just Resident Evil only WAY more boring and pretentious. An actual example of corporate corruption would be Monsanto bribing congressmen to pass a law prohibiting any US studies involving their products as a possible cause for killing honey bee colonies. Or Amazon buying the previously progressive Washington Post in order to prevent a scoop exposing their terrible worker's rights record. Instead the movie focuses on the REAL problem with Corporate America: Albert Wesker!

Resident Evil (any) is a good addition to this... those movies suck. Who wants to see Milla Jovovich's tits for the millionth time? Not I.

God, I can't remember every little thing I watch without sitting back and thinking on it long and hard, as well as looking through our movies. But the one that comes most to mind for me is "The Host", with "Son of the Mask" somewhere down the line. I only watched "Host" because I had made a bet with my mom I'd watch one of her movies if she watched one of my anime with me (Vision of Escaflowne), but I also had to comment on it otherwise I was going to go insane/fall asleep.

My mom's taste in movies isn't that good :/...

I just wanted to say (wrt @literaturenerd) that's quite the killer list you have there...though personally I've seen only 3 entries from that list (Glen/Glenda, Plan 9, Deadfall) and absolutely LOVED all 3 of them on a so-bad-it's-good basis. I think I've skimmed through a few MST3k entries in a similar vein as well (Troll 2, Zaat and Eegah! come to mind)
