Exactly what I was thinking! And hoping, it'd be interesting and extremely useful.

I feel like there isn't really a need for another episode? I feel like this one tied everything off nicely, and left us at a nice spot to create another season. What are they going to do in 20 minutes? Hm..

Lol I was gonna say the same thing!

Still don't know what to think of this show, it's random at times but still entertaining. Lets see how they pull off the ending.

''Guys, we only have two episodes left, what shall we do?''
''Let's make a Food Porn Episode!'' ''Genius!''

The should've made the series a little slower and made the first 10 episodes fit in 13 episodes, but with more explanations and stuff. The last 2 episodes seriously were meeeeeeeh.

Yusa can only channel Misa

But regardless of her own will, only her blood-related elder sister Misa possesses her

However, the channelling power no longer belongs to Yusa. It now belongs to Yuu, so would that particular restriction still apply, and would there be any reason for it to?

It's possible the power only allows the user to be possessed by one specific person, and we've already been shown that the power user isn't the one who controls the channelling ability, so it would make sense if the person to possess Yuu would be someone who had good reason to want to possess him. Kumagami would certainly have the motivation to possess Yuu and help him carry out the plan. (To help ability users, and to carry on effectively helping Shunsuke by carrying out this plan.)

Aha! That's it! Yu can channel Ayumi, have eyesight in both eyes, and time leap! Of course, don't tell Ayumi just yet...

If Yuu loses his vision from using his power. . . Idk it wouldn't make too much sense in my mind due to him using and abusing his power since he started school (cheating and stuff). I'll accept if it does occur. I want Yuu x Nao already D: lol. It's also sad that Nao lost all her feelings for Yuu due to him traveling back in time to save his sister (Yuu saving Nao's brother, Nao saving Yuu, Yuu spending time and interacting with Nao more). All of those experiences gone! :((

How on earth is this going to conclude in one episode now when it has pulled this new idea out of nowhere? Either something's going to go very wrong very quickly, or they're trying to build to a cliffhanger before going into the After Story/Refrain equivalent.

Slow episode really, with the only real moments of note being the crazy plan, Misa's farewell and the confession, the latter of which I thought was handled perfectly considering the characters involved.

Maybe it'll be a movie finale! All jokes aside, I don't know (We shall see). Probably rushed to hell or timeline skip? I'm hoping they don't do a time travel though.

-2 years later- (After he steals all the powers)

Yuu: I'm back
Nao: Hey :D
Yuu: Remember that promise?
Nao: No

-The End-

What an ending that would be lol. Comical ain't it?

You might be right about prediction 3. After all, it's KEY. . . Angel Beats. . . Which had a teary ending also lol. They might add something to make the viewers tear up. :'(. That actually seems like a good ending to me. Even though I'd still like a Nao x Yuu ending with them living happily ever after lol.

Any ends could be fine, except yuu being blind in the end. It would be even worse if tomori died, but it's somehow better when main character dies in the end than being blind o.o i know after seeing guilty crown xD

Amazing episode: Promise!

I'm so glad that they were able find time to show Yusarin and Misa's story, and that they were able to move forward! I was weary that they would leave some parts un-resolved but looks like I was wrong

Excited for the next episode! :) I hope they're able to resolve everything or at least lead into some type of sequel :o Definitely going to miss watching this anime every week, but it was a fun ride!

arrh looking forward on how jun maeda will execute the next episode!
either there will be a sequel to the series, after all there's no way Yu could loot the abilities of everyone in the world. or there will be a large time skip....a very large one.

i didn't see that confession coming though.

Maybe Misa now channel in Yuu?
they asked Yuu to search for a User with the same ability to Kumagami

It's possible that Yuu might now channel Misa - the one function I can see that serving would be Misa actually being able to "meet" Yusa again and talk to her, but I feel like Yusa and Misa have already had their closure, and besides, when Yuu returns, he will need to have already lost his abilities so as to not put his friends in danger. Yuu now has Misa's ability, so there wouldn't be any need for her to possess him to offer her firepower services.

Although they told Yuu to search for a user with a similar/the same ability as Kumagami, I can't quite imagine how he might manage that without some assistance and he might be putting himself in extreme danger if he's on his own, looking for an unknown power user who undoubtedly knows who he (Yuu) is, or at the very least, what power he possesses.

Having said that, we have no idea what plot twists Maeda has in store for us, other than - we assume - something which will lead to more feels.

Pretty sad episode, but a bit happy at the same time. Can't wait until the next episode, Yu travelling around the world, taking abilities, especially that syndicate which wants to experiment on the ability-wielders. Also... Yu and Tomori ship.

Goodbye to Misa, it had been better to see her rather than Yusa, but a dead person is a dead so it can't be help ;_;
The confession seemed to be weak, it was like 'go ahead save the world, then I'll reward you'. She seriously doesn't feel anything towards him (he is not romantic, though), asking what did you mean saying love you and her expression. I guess this is what makes her nature so comfy, reliable and a bit odd. Still hoping that Yuu saves world, then they'll become lovers.
I wonder why it feels rushed.

I'm surprised that they're actually pulling off a 13th episode. This one seemed very finale-ish. I was about to tear up...sad to see Misa go; and very sad to see the ability users hand their powers over to Yuu. I...kinda...get why they did it, but it's still sad to see these guys lose the abilities that made them stand out. Without them, Yusa's just cute, Joujirou's just....creepy with a side of funny and Nao's just- okay, well she still stands out. We never really got to see them pull off some legit teamwork craziness, other than when they were trying to freak people out. (Understandable, since they were avoiding attention at all costs. Still wanted to see it, though) Oh well. I really hope that they can wrap this series up in a phenomenal way cuz', after all this, I'm not seeing room for a second season. Out of everything that I'm watching right now, this is in the like top 3 and I don't want to see it killed at the last minute.

Because overall, Charlotte is considerably worse than all 3 of those (imo). It's probably the high expectations, but that's also kind of Maeda's fault too because he explicitly said that he learned from his mistakes in Angel Beats, and yet he repeated them again here.

Tomori was lying when she said they would make a bad couple since they would make a great couple.
Tho she certainly is setting the bar high with finding all those power users.
It seems impossible.

Anyway one more episode to go and i want more Tomori x Yu romance.

In all honesty this is way better then Little Busters, let's not forget that JC Staff made a big mistake with the director they picked for Little Busters.
And i don't mean Maeda.

I agree with you on on Clannad and Angel Beats tho.

I'm moreso attacking the Angel Beats fans here. Back when it was airing we saw the same stuff. "omg theres only one episode left, this show sucks, they cant save the show" etc. And when the last episode aired everyone was like "Omg based PA Works Angel Beats is the best!!"

And I have to respectfully disagree about Little Busters (except the director part). Read the VN, loved it, watched the anime, loved it too. Could've been better, but still loved it. But that's just my opinion (this is a whole different discussion however).

Another bad episode, it was not boring, but still felt like I was getting insulted repeatedly.

-The episode hints at time passing in an accelerated manner, yet Nao is still there at the hospital when technically it should've been weeks since Yuu woke up? Wasn't she supposed to leave quickly?
-Orange hair guy is a dumbass, its like he forgets this was Shun's plan (which had his approval), why is he mad at Yuu?
-Shun apparently has been sitting at the rooftop for over a month.
-Yusa apparently has her cooking program LIVE and not recorded. Yuu knew when to tune in to watch it because thats how this show handles convenient details.

But this one takes the cake:
-Yuu just accepts to go and take every person's powers without even knowing how to find the ability users now that kumagami is gone, or if his own ability even works after losing one eye. This is not only unrealistic but also extremely dangerous, going against every preventive measure put on him as a wielder of the most powerful ability. What if he's captured half-way? Nobody cares about that anymore.

-Why take their powers? Won't they eventually lose them? Yuu forgets that he was targeted because he's the most powerful one, not everyone will go to such extents to abduct teens.
-What happened to "living inside the facility until he lost his powers"? Clearly Yuu no longer needs to live sheltered because no one else will ever try to target him anymore.
-In the end, we never knew who or what was that terrorist girl ability user.
-In a very mirai nikki-esque manner, a whole building crumbling down means nothing to the police or authorities. Teenager power am I right?
-Still waiting for zhiend's lead singer to appear. I wonder how will she be used as a plot device.

Atrocious execution once more. Most of these could be easily solved by adding an extra piece of dialogue before they happen, but that's obviously too much to ask for these amateurs.

That was actually a well-written confession...it fit both their character though Yuu was a bit stiff but that was a serious moment so I understand. Nao doesn't have feelings for him but she'll give him a chance to prove his worth. Maybe over the supposed time-skip, she might develop feelings for him.

Another thing is, everyone says the time-skip will be long but what if its rather short because he loses his powers shortly. Like he loses plunder only due to overuse, anyways, there will be a consequence next episode, a painful one.

Good episode, many characters strengthened their determinations, especially Misa and Yuu, the protagonist may still be able to cure your eye to steal another skill and then go back in time, but he is thought in act on a larger scale and help everyone in the world, a really great change in his personality, he even confessed his love for Nao, I did not think he would do it so easily, but it was the test of his willpower

I look forward for the final episode, I expect a great development and great events, such as even Misa being with in the future after Yuu save it in the past, also some surprises, because in my opinion this anime is being the best of the season ..

This episode clearly showed that Maeda is an idiot and that he learned nothing from Angel Beats! He had the opportunity to make it 24 episodes but he didn't take it. This just can't end like the series deserves it.

Oh god, this is officially the worst Key anime ever made...

First - good way to resolve dilemmas of your undeveloped characters, just give them 2 scenes, 3 minutes each and relax - everybody buy their CDs and figurines anwyay XD GJ

How horrendously and ridiculously they handled Misa/Yusa just makes me wanna puke. I mean, I knew that you don't care about them anyway, but didn't know you HATED them, lul

Second - confession xD
SchwingBoner said:

Literally my face. At least it was funny.

Third - It's not the final episode, but with what they want to do it's either a) second season (doubt it) b) REALLY terrible ending, so terrible I'm even afraid to think about it at the moment. Maybe c) a miracle.

Nice bullshit ʘ‿ʘ

felt like a good half of this episode could have been spent on more meaningful things then Yuu getting fed by everyone but tomori's reaction to the confession made me laugh, not sure how he intends to take every ability user in one episode but fuck it seeing this shit to the end!.
