Whenever someone mentions Maken Ki! i get sad because the first season wasnt that bad, but the second season was absolute trash. Only reason i watched it really was because of fanservice and Episode 5 which made the whole season worth it. Like i would have watched a full series with the content of episode 5 from season 2. |

| NGNL is one of 5 LN adaptations made by Media Factory only for the sake of advertising and not to tell a conclusive story so it won't happen. Also it took over a year just to write the 7th volume because the author is sick or something so by the time the LN will have enough source material for a sequel it would already be kind late. |

| Well there's enough content for it, and the sales have been good, but given that it's Madhouse we're talking about here and that NGNL was just another LN sales boosting adaptation originally... I'd still not get my hopes up Either way, just read the light novels if you're impatient. They're too good to pass up on anyway |

| I've never read the light novels but I heard on some forms that the drawer was copying other peoples work for the novels? Idk but I would love a second season of this |
| If the show were to progress linearly, it would need 6 to 14 more seasons. So sure, season 2. I'd watch that. |
| Animation and story were intricate and well defined. Sadly, I'm pretty sure the season was only made to promote the light novels... |
| Im sure they made profit on the anime DvD/blue ray aswell, so i really dont get it why dont they make s2? I mean its not like the plot will be done with 2 seasons, and that a 2. season of the anime would decrease the LN sales, so WHY NOT MAKE A SEASON2?? Even on MAL this show is ranked 90, and 23. in popularity.. |
