If you can put up with the slow pacing, it'd be worth it. Otherwise, you're right. It's not. 225 chapters just to find out who he chooses is a bit much imo. (I only read the final 4 chapters, 225 to 229.) Baby Steps, which I love, is also slow AF and it didn't take that long for the main couple to start going out (135 chapters). Even in Fuuka the MC got his 2nd girlfriend in chapter 146. I'm sorry, but if it takes more than 200 chapters for the MC to pick a girl, then the journey better be worth it. |
It depends on what you're looking for. If you only like Nisekoi for the story and really want the confession part, then the manga is a super slow filler-filled fest of random stories that you will probably not enjoy. If you enjoy Nisekoi exactly for the random, short, slice-of-life filler-like comedy stories with some cute romantic moments mixed in, then it's great to read. Once you embrace the fact that you're reading for the cute comedy fillers (which aren't even that bad) and focus less on the story it's pretty nice. Kind of like Gintama if you know that, where basically the entire show seems like filler episodes. |

| Hopefully we never see a third season. The manga was only good up until the Christmas arc with Chitoge's mom. Then it all went downhill from there. There were still some good moments but they were too few and far in between with all those unnecessary fillers. |

| What the heck is Shaft doing? As far as I can tell, they don't have much planned for 2019 at all and Nisekoi ended like 3 years ago. This is practically the top romcom series and deserves to be complete. |

They've been doing jack squat since 2017, they used to average 7-8 projects a year. Okay so according to some reddit forums a couple of directors have left and a bunch of animators followed them and their sales have not been great (anything other than the monogatari series). These are rumours but it certainly seems that way. |
