| YUS EPISODE DELIVERSSSSSSSSSSSSSSs :DDD Kiharu/Kihal is as pretty as her manga counterpart *0* but that kiss totally stole the entire show~ Popo's animation was great and lol at Kiki and Zen ganging up on Mitsuhide As another manga reader, I also expected the kiss to be next epi BUT HEY I AIN'T COMPLAINING~~ Gawd this anime is so adorable. They skipped some stuffs and omitted some chars which is rather unfortunate but hey anime adaptation is amazing thus far. My only main complain is the lack of detailed character interactions... |
| That kiss scene is distracting everyone from how impressive Zen's means of handling this situation was. He could've easily denied the viscount's request to accompany Shirayuki and co. but instead approved the Brecker's request, opening up the perfect opportunity to expose the viscount of his selfishness and corruption. This reminded me a lot of how Prince Izana handled the corrupt lords in that flashback a few episodes ago. Not to mention how this speaks of Zen's trust in his soldiers. This is the first time I've felt truly impressed with Zen. And yes, that kiss was indeed this series' defining "OH SHIT" moment. Kiharu is absolutely beautiful. |

| Another beautiful and consistent episode. Honestly though, when the new girl showed up i thought it would've been for a marriage proposal or something. She seemed to be that foreign princess with the really fancy pet bird idk. Glad she wasn't i guess? IDK if that count could've been more obviously villainous the way he laughed and the way he was introduced, wish it would've been more morally grey. Hunting like that in a period then was often looked at with much more valor than they showed here. And ah yes the ending money shot there you go fans you can go home they kissed before the end of the season we got what we came for lets pack up! Kidding aside beautifully done, setting and atmosphere for the scene felt superb. |

| Damn, this episode was really good. I really like Kihal's introduction in this episode and she seems pretty cute. Brecker trying to sabotage the whole test was to be expected; he sure was an asshole though. Despite Shirayuki being injured she still jumped into the water and tried to search for the bell. Obi's reaction was great. xD I'm glad Popo made it back in time. Zen was so mad and went straight to Shirayuki. He couldn't handle Shirayuki's cute smile and finally kissed her! HNNNNNNG, that was a great moment. This anime is so good. 5/5 |

The kiss didn't save anything for me, it just screamed cheesy shoujo - something this series has managed to avoid, if at least minimize. I'm going to the dark side by rooting for Obi. I'll continue to watch though just for Oshima's classical flair. |
| Oh I thought it would play innocent for a bit longer, but yup the kiss saved the episode. The plot in this series is a bit weak, though the resolutions are decent enough. Did not expect Zen to do, I thought it would just stick to blushing until the end of the season. Looks like Shirayuki starts avoiding Zen next episode? Hm. |

Consider it's a miracle it's scored how it is considering the kind of show it is. I was expecting something more in the lower 7's out of MAL personally. |

| Yay the birds are saved! When I saw that lord on the rooftop of the tower I was really worried he was going to do something to Popo. D: I hope we can see both Kihal and Popo again. Popo is so cute.
