| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Back to the action and hopefully some good progress! A explanation about what is going on in Dressrosa for about 15 minutes in case you forgot EVERYTHING. Summary about the progress so far made in this episode: Law landed a good hit & Robin is walking some stairs what will probably take a few episodes. Overall episode score 2/5 imo |

| I haven't ever disliked a one piece episode, but this one really destroyed its potential cause of the extremely dragged out explanation from viola about who was where. If Liao G's 'G' wasnt golden and they hadnt shown the battle of hard-boiledness right after i would've clawed my eyes out. |

| urgh this episode ..... cant wait to get into the real action. Basically Law revealing to doffy that he has secret name D was the only new development in the whole episode. Recap to the point that this whole episode is basically filler. |

| Jesus christ that was the worst episode in a long time. The injection shot looked terrible, recap was way too long, almost nothing decent in the episode. I usually cut some slack but this was awful. |

| Only children or retards will have enjoyed this. One Piece has been terrible for a long time now. The animation has become garbage, the progression is the slowest of anything I've ever watched. Watching a fight is torture because there's about 3 frames in each move. It's disgusting that an anime that should have a huge budget has such little production quality. |

| I miss the flash back. At least that was fairly well paced and enjoyable. Slowly typing out everyones names? seriously? come on xD. The pace was so slow, they ended up repeating the line, the end of this battle is not far away! Only 20 more episodes! |

| Does Doflamingo sort of confirms that D. stands for 'Devil' as he says 'sword enemy of the gods'? It would sort of fit the story too |
| (Usual comment about how much I hated this episode and the fact nothing happened) So the whole Cora and Law flashback is what people who read the manga were raving on about being good but it just ended up being an average flash back to me and now we get this stupid recap episode to make it even worse. Why doesn't Law just take Don Flamingo's heart out already, I mean seriously he has the most OP ability ever but instead uses it mostly to switch himself with stuff instead of chopping off limbs or removing organs. |

He can't cut him with his power most likely because Doflamingo's armament haki is too strong. And he has tried to use MES already and failed miserably. He's not strong/fast enough to pull it off on Doflamingo. |

And Trebol back in one piece. Perfect. Law's flashback was a good break from what has become the chore of watching this arc. They need to hurry up and end it. |

So D could also mean Destiny. Personally I think d couple mean several things. Devil Destiny Death A 'bad guy' has the destiny to change the world and then die. I think all the d's are pirates, except garp, but I can see him becoming an allie against the world govenment |

| So basically we're back to the shitty pacing and crappy animation... Well, the animation wasn't that bad this time, but still. It was really a dragged episode. I didn't need for Viola to remind me who the executives are and their location. Meh... I expect better stuff next week. Probably won't get it, though. PS: Wtf were those rainbow strings?! |

This episode accomplished nothing really exept from Doffy knowing Law is a dick, I mean D IsGalis said: they put colors in Doffy's threads to make it more visible I think. | In my opinion, the Corazon flashback was a million times more interesting than all the fights currently happening combined. The executive fights are cringeworthy and pointless (especially the "hard boiled" fight), and full of characters no one gives a rat's ass about. Even the fight with Doffy has been going nowhere fast; Luffy can't attack because of Bellamy, and Law is just parrying. I wouldn't even mind the slow pacing if there was nice animation, but it's the same 10 frames recycled. I have faith that it'll get better...but damn, this is not the same One Piece that gave us Water 7, Enies Lobby, and Impel Down. Actually, I haven't really been feeling OP since the Summit War ended. But, faith. |

| Okay let's see what happened in this episode: Doflamingo finds out that Law is a D. That's it. If you skip this episode there's not a thing you miss, the fights are exactly where they were before, the information is the same too. Useless episode reminds me once again that I should drop my rating for One Piece. |
| I suppose a bit of a recap was inevitable, but it's jarring to go from that incredible flashback arc so full of emotional investment and story progression to this. For what it was though it was decent. The pacing was quick, it didn't drag, the hard boiled fight and Rooster-kun were funny, Diamante actually employed strategy and progressed the fight, Law vs Doflamingo was interesting. Solid ending. Just almost no patience left for Luffy fighting around Bellamy. That may be because I don't give a damn about Bellamy in the slightest. |

| Just a small update on what was going on after Cora's story ended. The animation is so lackluster though, real shame to be fair, so many still images for periods of time. |
