Hmm, the concert. Have to say those songs were all pretty awful. Guess it's bad when japanese singer tries to sing english.. Would be a lot better if they simply used japanese instead.

And the obvious happened, he remembered the time before/different world. But why they even erased his memories in the first place? And it was their brother Shun who had time leap ability. But theway they are dealing with time travel is kinda weird - no parallel universes, just single timeline with people partly remembering previous instances? Then what about all those paradoxes? Well, not that this series ever tries explain all those other things though.

But what about others in the facility? It seems that we are dealing here with another evolution step as old scientist suggested.

But.. am I the only one who thinks that hoarding all those gifted people on one place seems really bad idea?

Now, I'm not against their small little plan with Kumagami but again logic taken into consideration when writing that scene. They were in highly guarded complex, cameras watching them 24/7, yet they were talking about it pretty carelessly. If they were free to use their powers without any restrain it would be pretty messy place to be in (I mean, those people didn't have any means to block them?). Either those scientists were pretty dumb or Maeda is foolishly expecting his viewers will take liberties of his writing. He surely could take some ideas from X-Men.

Guards with SMGs guarding them? I lol'd :D They are really trying hard to antagonize them, right? Tazers (as the one used by the guard later) should be enough. Not to mention it was possible security hazard with Yuu's possessing powers around. And what was up with that overly helpful plot-device old scientist... another obvious plot convenient railroading, sigh.

I also find it hard to believe they are killing off the most promising specimens (Ayumi etc.) when they could possible use them as powerful soldier with proper training and brainwashing. And I just find it way hard to believe Yuu can possibly learn any amount of powers without going completely mad.

The ending in hospital with Kumagami suddenly appearing and revealing everything about his brother felt like real asspull (not to mention he could tell him before). And for Nao to conveniently knew him too was another joke.

At least it was story driven episode... when compared to some previous episodes. Now we only have to wait a week to get those answers. I don't doubt we will get many more plotholes.

Things took a drastic turn it seems.
Well i figured Ayu would still be alive but the question is where is she right now.
Seeing as she is declared death it probably won't be easy to get to her.

The girl from the episode where Ayumi died also appeared, the one that came rushing in the car.

Uwhooooooooooaaaaaaaaaa!!!

Quite the X-men Days of Future Past stint!!
But really nicely done!!

So what Shun wants is that Yuu take over his body and time leap and save Ayumi before she calls on her collapse ability. Waaaaaaaw.

But yeah, would that mean that the current trajectory will still go as it is for Yuu? Or are we going to see the conscious Yuu on a parallel time route?
Ah damn, totally a Steins;Gate moment! Geeeeeeeeeeeeee I'm so excited!

Plunder is a damned cool ability! But so dangerous, yow!
If his memories had to be erased... then does that mean he is conscious of the alternative time route in which he had died? Because it definitely seemed like Yuu died in that research facility trajectory. Then did they have to do a mass memory wipeout for everyone they saved or what? Is there a collective consciousness?
Garr! The mechanics of time leap is so damn complex!!

Politics, power, superpowers... Humans are shit crazy. Too smart for their own good. Apocalypse will be by the human hand too selfish to hold steady the balance. Humanness is creepy.

Very intense episode. However (and this might be an incredibly unpopular opinion) I feel like these turn of events happened almost too fast. Don't get me wrong, I loved the episode. Very interesting. But it almost felt like a way out of a storyline that may end up dry. Is that the case? I don't know! This is a reaction from 5 minutes after the episode ended. I need to process it more!

All I know is that it makes me want to go rewatch the first 8 episodes to find little hints. To me, that's what is driving me mad is that maybe only 1 or 2 lines were ever spoken that hint at this - and I felt like I wanted more.

Still, absolutely loved it and can't wait for next week's episode.

shunsuke looks so hot <3 <3 <3 But wait, he says his eyes need to see the light for his time leap to work. But now that he's blind, he can no longer see the light. Does that mean he cant use his power anymore? so is yuu gonna like take his power and time leap himself? IS TIME LEAP WHAT TURNED HIM BLIND!??!?!?! THIS IS WHY I CAN NOT WAIT 10080 FULL MINUTES FOR EPISODE 10.

Yeah, they're dealing with time leap pretty weirdly.
Erasing memories I'm still okay with... it's always a precaution. Only question is from whom? Precaution from his brother's "Save all the mutants!" venture, or saving from other people finding out. The only explanation of valid erasure I see that he survives the gunshots from the facility and to protect the researchers from finding out the truth, the other guy wipes him. That means a lot of untold stuff in between. But time leaping doesn't match up with this idea. It's weird. Only if Yuu were the one who'd time leaped at that point... hmm.. dunno... too many holes at the mo.
Kumagami was waiting for Yuu to remember. They expected him to. Why?

Yup, hoarding all the gifted ppl under the same roof is badbadbad. But it's like a normal prison. You have all the bad people together, and the dangerous people isolated. You obey the rules, you be happy. You defy, you terminated or isolated or whatever.

Yeah, I found it really odd they'd talk so loudly. Then it was a new facility that was full of security holes? If they're letting superpower people socialise, then they were what, "nice" scientists?

Dissection only if this was a secret from the army. But sounds odd it can remain so. Yeah, I too pitch for military war use.
The moment he took on that telepathy guy, Yuu was totally on that stage of getting mad. But he can call at will his plunder power. So he can shut it off too.

Hmm.. So this is where Sala's "bargain" idea comes from eh? Onii-san also bargained too much in the end.

I love and hate this episode!!! (I just watched it on Animax). The intro where Yuu and Nao about to watch Zhiend's concert is pretty cute, and I gotta admit the flashback is pretty interesting with so many people with super powers!

But overall I love this episode and the score is 9/10

I had the same feeling, bro. But I think that the next episode will explain everything about this "time-skip".

Was expecting the time leap from the start... Special ability... Death... = Time leap.
But, I was expecting this the episode just after the death of the sister not 3 whole episode after...

I, however, did not think they were already in a time leap even though there was some hints regarding the brother and the music (even though I was thinking they may have just met a long time ago).

I do not really like though that the music seems to be the key to eveything here... Oh, music : Ok, now my brother is better than ever ; Oh, music : Ok, now I remember. Guess there is not enough time left.

So, now, the questions that we need an answer (in order to make SENSE) are :
- Why Yuu and Nao were the only one who remembered something when they've done the time leap ? (even though their memory was erased at some point),
- Why did they even erase their memory in the first place ? Why did they forget about their brother exclusively ?
- Why did the brother did just *disappear* and did nothing to prevent the death of his sister ?

Wait. That still doesn't explain why Maeda said ''his true ability will be revealed'' when talking about Kumagami.

They named Kumagami Winnie the Pooh. Surely that's not just some coincidence. I just leave it here for reading or finding a clue:

Also, remember Yuu already has several other powers, that includes thoughtography, levitation, telekinesis and possibly some other.
And OP still has some "unused" powers like Transmission or Summon.

Oh damn, now it (almost) all make sense... Even the memory thing, since from what we heard during the episode, there was an esper who could remove the memory. I'm just wondering as to why they erased Yuu memory and why they didn't contact him sooner. Also, where did they get the fund to build that base? Someone must be awfully rich in their entourage. Also, Nao seem to know more that she let it seem. I do remember that she wanted Yuu to possesses the telekinetic dude from the baseball episode.

Dat Nao outfit... Hnnnnnnng
Yuu went full dere on her. I can understand him though. I would go full dere too.

If I were playing the Jun Maeda drinking game I'd have died of alcohol poisoning just now.

You can probably bet that Sala had the same or a similar ability to Time Leap. Also considering the trigger for the ability is "Light" it's fair to say that the blind guy cannot Time Leap anymore. Basically it's gonna have to be Yuu that time leaps to save Ayumi. To think, this is all because that dumbass didn't fucking listen and went to school instead.

That's what I think too. The brother seems like a bad guy. Or maybe a bad guy took over his brother's body. Idk, but Yuu's premonitions have always been right. That 本当に、兄さんなのか makes it all the more so

Same for me. I thought shunsuke was antagonist since 1ep xd
He was shown as "perfect 'onii-chan'" already in 1ep, the only one holding ayu's hand was shun, yuu was walking next to them.
This kind of character in anime always are bad guys or even antagonist

Travel leap? that wasn't travel leap it was more like reality manipulation that's an OP ability.

if he change the world why not change it were the scientist after them doesn't exist or a world where their powers are treated normally.

i don't know the full description of his powers they better explain it well otherwise that will be a big plot hole

Okay so it was obvious that Ayumi was still alive. What was sorta expected was for Yuu and Ayumi to have a brother/sister. What was wicked was that they were actually part of the lab experiments. That twist was nuts; thank goodness for Key. I was losing hope but I have gained so much more confidence in Key

Oh and one thing: I feel like the title Charlotte is significant. Maybe something big has yet to come

I'm guessing that Yu will steal his brother's power and since Yu obviously still has eyes, he can go ahead and use the ability to go back in time to save Ayumi. -duh-

Whether or not he'll go blind for it, I'll never know.....

And I wonder if he keeps the power for the long run or the short run?

Also, since they aren't able to use their powers after he takes them, does he have a mind blockade that somehow prevents him from taking over the minds of the other ability users because then that would mean taking their powers away? (like the baseball dude)

Finally, but not the last, is there a connection between Sara and Shunsuke since they are both blind? What did Sara give up?

You know, I can't help but see the concept of time travel as a cop-out the more I see it, unless the show revolves around it(not that it can't be screwed up even then). It's what often some previous events pointless for the most part. This is one of the worst examples too, IMO, as it just appears like a convenient twist, a concept that had absolutely no part in the anime for 9 freaking episodes.

The imouto was nothing more than a moeblob plot device(an annoying one but hey, everyone has their tastes) but a plot device needn't be such a bad thing when if it at least serves it's purpose and that's that. Now, she's LESS than a plot device. Yuu's descent in ep 7 felt pretty damn pointless as it was seeing how quickly and easily it was resolved, not to mention how ridiculously over-the-top it was(and not in the good way). Now it feel's even more pointless, which I didn't think was possible.

I'd rather Maeda focuses more on developing the relationship between Yuu & Nao better, which is the one thing that could make use of all the previous episodes in order for the development to feel genuine.

On the bright side, there was none of that Yusa fanboy garbage comedy this week.

"Meh." That's exactly how I feel after watching this episode. It was so all over the place..it's honestly starting to feel like Angel Beats with how fast everything is happening, which saddens me. If this anime was 24 episodes, it would be much better..but I literally felt like I skipped like 3 episodes after watching this. Oh well. It's anime, I learned the hard way to not expect much from anime these days..

Welp, nothing really unexpected happened this episode. I've been expecting the time travel ability to come in for like 4 episodes now, and I knew from last episode that the concert would some how lead in to the secrets behind the time travel ability.

This show is incredibly easy to predict...the only unexpected thing that happened was Yuu's "real" ability, which I still don't understand cuz I don't even think they explained why or how he has another ability..

Anyways all I'm hoping for right now is Nao to end up in a relationship with Yuu. That's all lol
One dream that will probably never come true: A full anime adaptation of Kimi no Iru Machi or Suzuka anime reboot.

"It Happens."

This was an interesting episode? We got a bunch of new characters, so I'll be looking forward to seeing their personalities elaborated. I'm unsure where they're going with this, so it was certainly a good point to be a cliffhanger.

For some reason, though, I'm just not looking forward to this as much as I normally would. Mainly because the scientists don't seem to be taking advantage of the teens they capture in sensible ways, or for any practical cause. Heck, they aren't even doing it for personal gain. I really want there to be a bigger reason for their behavior than their seems to be so far.

4/5 Nice episode!
Nao in shifuku is so adorable ^^

I notice that Yuu's true ability seems more similar to Tamaki's power (cut) than Yamada's (copy). Also Yuu's bro and Sala's blindness made me curious.

Moreover ZH-I-END symbol on the phonecase is quite catchy, even if it's just trivial it still tickles me a bit.

Ah, and that so called "life's-reset-button" a.k.a time-leap feels so convenient, I wish I have one too. LOL
