| Seems to me like these guys actually really enjoyed making Kyoukai No Kanata but have mixed feelings on how they did regarding the story, so they're going to make a LN adaptation. Honestly glad they take on projects where they can just chill and have fun as well as projects they have to really pour themselves into. That being said, the animation is the best I've seen from them yet so I'm definitely excited. |
| I don't even know why you guys mention animation quality. It was always top notch since KyoAni's ancient times. KyoAni = Eye Candy, de facto. As a diehard KyoAni fan I am super hyped to watch this. Hibike was gorgeous and I hope this show doesn't spoil KyoAni's reputation of the best studio ever. |

Also, what! You can tell a character's personality by looking at their general demeanor/hair color!? YOU MUST BE AN ANIME WHIZ KID! Jokes aside, being able to tell the general personalities of anime characters shouldn't be anything new to you. I mean, you should be able to guess how the characters in Chaika acted based on their hair color. Blonde=noble and what not. Same with shows with deeper character like The Legend of the Legendary Heroes. It's how the characters take their personalities and interact with the world, as well as how they interact with each other that's interesting. If you drop something because of a school setting, then you must hate young people or anime that try and take a semi-realistic approach to their world (half-fantasy.) If you like both, than stop bitching about school settings. |

Things like this are mainstream nowadays because most anime fans are teenagers and young adults. I have dropped 90% of anime related to school theme because because they were so empty and generic. |
