| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Mm, Silver Mask being a badass. That's awesome and as expected for someone of his skills. Not sure how I feel about this girl but she is somewhat clever and hotblooded. Yet is someone not to be underestimated... Arslan really knows how to connect to people.  I think the story is heading into climax soon and I can't wait to see it. |

| Definitely didn't expect the reveal in this episode but an interesting one, if I may say so. I don't really like Etoile's character much but I kind of look forward to more interactions with Arslan. It would be interesting to see what happens when they meet in battle. I think there is a good chance they might fall in love eventually and I'd actually like that but again, I don't really look for romance in this series. I will be sad when this series ends but hopefully the manga picks up soon and hopefully it will go on for a while to cover a big part of the novels. |

| The second half was one of the best pieces of Arslan Senki so far. Great conversations and actions between Arslan and Etoile, she once again influenced him in his beliefs. Pretty sure that they will meet again with her finding out who he is. |
| I loved the scenes with Etoile and seeing her talk with Arslan was even better. I can't help but ship them together. xD Sadly, I'm sure they'll face each other in battle soon and Etoile will find out he's Arslan. |

| That priest that abandoned his men is scum, I was really hoping to see Hermes slice him open. Well he looks like he had enough fun killing off the rest of the soldiers. More of a "calm before the storm" type of episode, it was kind of nice to see the interactions between Etoile and Arslan. I can already smell the shippers. I'm sure they'll inevitably meet on the battlefield and that's when Arslan will recognize her. It'll be interesting to see how he responds when that moment arrives. The story seems to be heading into the climax now, with 5 episodes left, hopefully it isn't rushed. |

| They did the whole him being a 'girl' thing very subtly. I mean she could be a boy with long hair too. But I suppose it fits the story better if it's a girl. I cannot believe the Lusitanian priest got away. I hope we see his demise before the end. |

| Great ep...Etoile is really pretty and cute. I really can't wait til she finds out that boy she keeps meeting is Arslan. What would her reaction be and what will she do after that? I'm interested. Lucian seems like a cool guy. I was afraid he might cause some problems if he replaces Narsus but he seems nice enough. Bodin just keep making me facepalm so hard. How can one person be such an asshole OTL Will these last 5 eps really conclude the series? |

| I really liked this episode and thanks to Etoile (I think that is how you spell the name), Arslan has some cpurage and determination to try to take back Pars. |

| Yeah the whole reveal with Etoile is quite nice. However he/she is going to need a lot of reorienting in his/her world view before we can ship them as a couple. This ridiculous religion that Etoile follows is a real stumbling block. That is however, one of the things I like about this anime. It tells the political and religious side of conflict much better than any other anime I've seen. Wish I could read the LN. |

| It was nice to see that Arslan's circle has grown, and seeing so many soldiers gathering. Etoile is most likely a girl, I mean she even blushed a little every now and then. But for her to give Arslan the necessary push, it means something special :D Looking forward to any meeting chance they can get, especially when they get older too. Still curious about that general that left Hermes. |

I suspect that the eventual revelation that the boy she's been running into for years is actually Prince Arslan will accomplish much of that reorientation by itself. | So... Etolie is a girl in real huh... Hmmm I'm not sure if I'm fond of that revelation or not. And I was actually kinda looking forward to a new character to introduced. I always thought why such a character as Etoile who might play an important role later on was discarded along the lines of series but now I see... the author had totally different plot planned ahead. I thought them of as a good friends until now so I'm in a dilemma if to ship them or not D: It kinda threw me off tbh :D But glad to see Arslan getting his resolve set, all thanks to her. Kinda amusing how they're unaware of each others identities. Would be fun to see how they'd react after finding out the truth :) |

| Well, if they did one episode right, it was this one. I really can't point out any flaw this time. More likely, I really enjoyed their fateful meeting with tons of double meanings in their words. I really can't wait to see their face when they realize their true identities :D And finally (even though he's still naive and incautious)... Arslan is thinking and acting as king, it was long overdue. |

| Well, Etoile being a girl made me snap. Too much damn traps this season, quite enough don't you think? Also she resembles Riza Hawkeye a lot, should have noticed that Etoile was a girl ;-;  Barion-Zara said: I really doubt that. The original novel series are 14 volumes long and still on going, but from what I read this is being based on a manga adaptation(2nd one) so no idea if they are being loyal to the novels or making an original ending like the first manga adaptation it had.
