Suicide Island, it's original and one of the best manga I've ever read. I don't know about Naruto Gaiden, I don't know if that even going to be adapted into an anime. Probably after Shippuden.

More specifically, it'd be nice if Otoyomegatari were to get a good adaptation down the line.

Nope. It's one of those manga that are suited for the manga medium and would look awful as anime (like all Asano manga). The art wouldn't translate well for a TV anime, maybe a movie.

Nope. It's one of those manga that are suited for the manga medium and would look awful as anime (like all Asano manga). The art wouldn't translate well for a TV anime, maybe a movie.

Sure, as far as the gorgeous details go, there's not much that can be done, but Mori's character designs aren't all that difficult to bring to screen, and her storytelling methodology is pretty orthodox, and uncontroversial (unlike Asano, from what I can tell).

Personally, I think the addition of colours, voice, and music would give it a life easily compensating for the concessions of animation.

Its episodic formula and cute, easygoing SoL-romantic themes could be brought to screen effortlessly, while also lending themselves to a more fleshed or padded adaptation. Even without top-of-the-line animation, it could remain highly enjoyable on other merits.

As far as practicality goes, it's a manga with general appeal, and the exotic locale gives it something that readily sets it apart in the market. Being the work of an already successful mangaka with previous anime adaptations, there's certainly precedent enough to think it a real possibility.

tl;dr: I disagree.

Pretty much almost every single manga I've read or I'm reading that didn't get an adaptation yet but if I had to be specific:

• Boku Girl - We really need some gender bender comedy.
• Dragons Rioting - Better than all the shitty ecchi harem LNs that we get every season.
• Gun x Clover - Same as Dragons Rioting.
• Kimi wa Midara na Boku no Joou - Would be hilarious as romance anime but hard to adapt without censoring, also needs more chapters first.
• Kuro - A dark show about a cute girl that is actually done right.
• Minamoto-kun Monogatari - More actual romance in anime.
• Murcielago - Violent perverted female lead in an action heavy series, could have censoring issues though.
• Otoyomegatari - It won't be as detailed as the manga but it's still possible to make it look good, plus it deserves an adaptation
• Re:Monster - A fantasy series with game elements that actually focuses on those instead of being some slice of life or romance show, count me in.
• Uwa-Koi: A series about cheating with a yandere, could be fun but the manga is already over

Real should receive a solid adaptation from a reliable studio but then again, will it cater to the market? probably not

I wish manhwa would get adapted but that will never happen but if a billion to one chance it does I want Annarasumanara to be adapted keep it black and white with those splash of colors and I bet it would be a huge hit sol

I'd kill for a complete Kami no Shizuku adaptation but it will never in a million years happen because its not an otaku manga in the slightest, its a niche manga, and it already has a J-Drama.

Most manga that get adapted are shounen. I don't see how being an otaku manga is relevant. In the first place what is considered otaku anime comes from LN not manga.

Maybe its not the right term but I doubt an anime adaptation of a Wine manga would sell enough to a good financial investment plus the source material is complete so there is nothing to promote.

Uh, being adapted to J drama means it's already worth the investment. I know anime fans are not well versed on the industry and think anime is ends to all means but having a real life action adaptation is significantly more important and profitable than having an anime.

And there is anime called bartender.

I'm not stupid, I know how the industry works, thats why I said it won't happen because it already has a J Drama and live action appeals to the target demographic of the manga much more than anime.

Pluto (not the biggest 20th Century Boys fan) and Saikyou Densetsu Kurosawa with different art if people already can't digest Fukumoto's art.
Blame needs a real adaptation, of course, and Hoshi no Samidare and My Girl could be interesting, too.

EDIT: Any JoJo that still isn't adapted, duh!
