As part I (or whatever) of the manga is finished, they can just follow the manga without anime-original contents for season 2 if it happens. |

The entire "White" arc can be regarded as one of many stories in Kekkai Sensen, and they can just continue with manga story. If season 2 happens, the "main" arc won't take much episodes, maybe 3 tops out of 12-13 episodes. The rest will be other life-in-HL ones. |

| Good sales don't always lead to sequels. There are a lot more factors to take into account before making a sequel. Also the first volume sold 22k, the second one dropped to 17k, the third one dropped to 14k and it doesn't look like it'll stop dropping. |

The first volume managed to cross 22k because it had an event ticket and other items included unlike the other volumes. If you want to see whether there's a drop, then you should compare the sales of the remaining volumes. The second volume sold 15,916 copies on its second week while the third sold 14,659 copies. There's only a difference of 1.2k which is considered normal.
