| Rewatching TSR after like 8 years just makes me remember what a HUGE improvement it was over the first season. The first season really hasn't aged well. It just goes on and on and on in some of the serious arcs, with an admittedly pretty boring villain, and poor animation at points. TSR on the other hand is half the length of the first, it's fast paced, hilarious, it's beautiful to look at (Thank fuck Kyoani took over!!) and the fluid action scenes are amazing. Not to mention the story is way better, the bad guys are delightfully evil and it has more character development. If FMP was a 7, TSR is a 10! My favorite scene is a simple one, the scene where Sousuke finally lets his guard down and Kaname gives him a haircut. It's intimate and emotional. NOW ON TO SEASON 4 HOLY SHIT!!!! | What a nice season. To be fair, I didn't like the first one. It had a mediocre story, sometimes a bad animation and a horrible ending, but this was much more fast-paced, short and it felt much realistic as Sagara fought his fear to lose his individuality and Chidori. As for the romantic interests, I hope he chooses Tessa, but I have to read the manga to confirm or deny that. A solid 8/10. |

| Poor Yu Fan and Lan. Such a waste of fine meat. If Sousuke was a little bit early he could've saved Fan. That Amalgam commander was kinda cool at the end. He didn't care even though he was about to die. Sousuke got balls speaking up to that general. If he wasn't the most powerful lambda driver, he'd be arrested and shot right there. Tessa got friend zoned, but at the same time she thinks she still has a chance. Poor girl, or is she? hehe It looks like its not time for Chidori and Sousuke to confess their feelings to each other yet, but at the same time I'm sure they know in their heart they love each other. Anyway, very good season. 8/10 |
| Aaaaah, you were nowhere near saying it Chidori! The scene of Sousuke taking control with the Lambda was spectacular.  What balls did Sousuke have to face the generals in the meeting, worthy of admiration. I didn't understand Tessa's scene with Sousuke very well but meh, I was surprised that she was excited because she named him with her name instead of "Captain" xD Chidori's scene with Sousuke scolding him and where she breaks down in tears, I loved it  |
