The 36th issue of Weekly Shounen Jump magazine, released on August 3, announced that the manga Tonkatsu DJ Agetarou will be adapted into a TV anime. The series follows Agetarou Katsumata, who is inspired to become a club DJ while making a delivery run for his family's tonkatsu (fried pork cutlet) restaurant.
The manga series is created by Epyao and illustrated by Yuujirou Koyama. The two became acquainted during university. Tonkatsu DJ Agetarou began serialization in the Shounen Jump+ manga reader application in September 2014, and the third volume will be released on August 4.
The first volume placed second in the April 2015 rankings of Kono Manga ga Sugoi! (This Manga is Amazing!) among works aimed at men.
hmm, this does sound like something that would be 5 mins long, but then again it has 3 volumes,so it could be enough material to make a full show. I think it would be kind of cool as a full length show, since I'm not much into anime shorts
