| I've seen angel beats and mirai nikki so far that made me cry, my girlfriend normally hates anime but she said if I watch 'pretty little liars' she'll watch ONE. I was thinking clannad but is it REALLY that bad, I've never seen it so I'm unsure. Suggestions please |

| Clannad is not a bad anime. There is a reason why it is once the number 1 anime in MAL ranking. Well at least the second season. To be honest, I didnt think the first season was all that great, heck I think its overrated. But what made Clannad one of my favorite anime is the second season, After story. Well you need to get past the first half which is excruciatingly slow to actually get to the good bits. But its definitely worth it. Seriously it is one, if not, the most depressing anime Ive seen (in a good way) Ive seen clannad years ago but to this day I still get feels when listenning to the soundtracks. Well its best to watch the show not knowing anything about it and does contain some supernatural stuff that seem weird at first. For other recs maybe NANA. |

I'm hesitant to recommend Shirobako to new anime viewers because they might be bored by its emphasis on anime production. |
