| After the excitement of her getting kidnapped, forced into marriage, etc., we now get an episode of complete SoL And I actually enjoyed it more than I probably should have. Everything was so chill and slow paced, it all worked quite well in developing Ryu as a character, and to reveal that tidbit on Zen's past. I'm not quite sure as to why Shirayuki would be so upset about Zen building immunity to poison though. I mean, first off, he's a prince, subject to assassinations and the like, building immunity is to allow him to extend his life. Secondly, the administration of poisons are all done in a controlled environment and with the explicit supervision of the herbalists to prevent anything bad happening. Thirdly, it seems that Zen was the one who wanted to do all this in the first place, considering his position and how he so proudly states his immunity to poisons. So given this was all done for a good cause on a willing participant and these sort of safety measures were pretty normal in those day and age, why would she be so upset as to shed tears about it? In any case, I enjoyed the chill atmosphere this episode, though I don't expect it to last for too long. |

| This episode was so well done it's amazing. Maybe Shirayuki overreacted a little there while reading the book but that definitely revealed something about her relationship with Zen. Something I'm quite hyped to see develop. |

| I've seen a lot of ridiculous anime in my time, but I have to say this is the first time that I've seen one genuinely try to make something as inanely boring as herb gardening appear not only interesting but also tense enough to be worthy of a dramatic soundtrack. It failed though, by the way, since this episode was boring as shit. I wouldn't say it was boring just because of herb gardening though, that's not fair on herbs - it's mostly boring because I've seen more personality in a shoe than I have in most of these characters. |

It just proves that Shirayuki is a kindhearted, pure soul. :) At first, she only knew Zen as his usual self: fine and strong. It's pretty shocking and sad to find out that he had to endure such harsh things in his childhood and still able to be the way he is now. The anime made it as if it's no big deal, but in reality it is. Imagine if you had to consume poison as a routine and feel sick all the time. Shirayuki cried because she CARES so much. D': Ryuu's reaction is understandable for someone that's not good with people in general. It's actually heartwarming to see him open up to Shirayuki. He looks so happy! :') |

| Shirayuki = best girl Intelligent, nice, brave, kindhearted, wise, tough, lovely, no wonder Zen fell for her XD Can't say it's flawless, but I have not expected AnS adaptation to be this good..! 5/5 |

| It's been a while since i enjoy shojo manga... Especially the music and art.. Story is pretty interesting too. Put that off, this is pretty much calming episode. Love the reaction when akagami read that book, (that caught me off guard). Anyways great episode... |

I love Shirayuki as a character and I'm warming up to Zen now. The romance is developing as well. Yep, probably the best Summer Anime this is. |

| I freaking love this anime. It is so dang hard to find genuinely good romance genre anything these days, but this anime is leaps and bounds over all the rest. This may just end up being my favorite romance anime of all time. |

| Enjoyable episode all around! To completely adapt the manga, the anime is going to need 50+ episodes which I'm really, really hoping will happen because the story gets more interesting as it goes on. But this is based on a shoujo manga so... |

| Great episode! I feel like the part with Zen's medial notes could've been presented better but since it lead to a great scene between Shirayuki and Zen I do not mind! They suit each other very well :) Great show so far, I wonder how much they plan to cover~ |

| I know that it's common in shoujo anime that the characters are acting so dramatically(even as far as cheesy) over anything & one dimensional. And I know those problems very well right from the start, but I still cannot help but to be disappointed. I mean, this is a beautiful anime show yet those problems exist & easily noticeable. I hope this is going to change in the future(I know it's almost impossible because those are kind of staples of shoujo, but a man can hope). |
