| I hope they change the opening back next episode, didn't really like this one's. TAAAAAAAAAAKAAAAAAAAAASUUUUUUUUGIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII-KUUUUUUUUUUN The Okikagu "moments" in this episode were great (nothing beats last week's proposal though). My OTP is perfect, as expected. A great ending to the first serious arc of the new season. Typical Gintama with that nipple xD Oh next week will be freaking hilarious. |

| Did Gintoki cut Yaemon's sword before it reached Asaeomon's neck? I don't really understand what happened in that moment. Also, Asaemon is dead on paper, yet she's the head of the family and the bakufu executioner now? Someone please explain. Overall i liked this arc more than I thought I would. The visuals (especially in the flashbacks) were stunning and the new OST was great. I would have liked it better if Yaemon didn't have a change of heart, but oh well, the final flashback showed that he did care for his family. Finally Madao appears! I missed this dude. | Decent arc overall. This was essentially a set up arc for more stuff to come. But that guy's hair looks dumb and of course he dies protecting them -_- I hope that Asaemon becomes recurring character too! Happy that she was alive at the end. |

| Loved this arc. Really emotional ep. Teared up a bit at the end :*) Asaemon is so cute <3 And her promise to Gin when she was a loli was so F'd up but so cute XD And her smile was adorable. Hope she becomes recurrent like Tsukki. I'd love to see their interactions :3 She can introduce herself as the girl that Gin made a promise with to take his head :P Loved the scene when Gin took her sword and cut Yaemon. DAMN BA!! Lots of hints for Gin's past this ep and friggin loved his serious faces. Didn't expect Yaemon to have his head sent flying O_o Hitotsubashi seems to be formidable. And he's on Takasugi's side right now :O Only thing I'm wondering is, HOW THE HELL wasn't there any consequences to Gin being shot pretty damn near his heart or at least in the lung. I thought they didn't forget it when he bled at the end but then it turned out to be a nipple lol |

| Reading the manga made this arc great. So much foreshadowing when it came to Gintoki's past and the future outcome with Nobunobu and Takasugi+Gin. I cried a lot at the scenes with Gin's past. Foreshadowing quotes are |

| A good example of how you don't need a lot of action to put together a good serious arc in a shounen, or in a series in general. Loved this arc, what a fantastic story. Enter Nobunobu, the man who is the reason why Gintama hasn't had a comedy chapter in a long ass time. Not that that's a bad thing, it got the story moving along a lot further. Anyway loved how they adapted this arc. Beautiful, just beautiful. Seriously, I loved it. |

| omg seeing gintoki struggling to walk at the end in the flashback and knowing that he'll eventually end up at otose's husband's tombstone was fucking tearjerking. 10/10 arc i also liked how they switched around the op and ed songs. |

| This is the reason why Gintama is GOAT and why people love it so much. We had almost everything that made Gintama so good from action, drama, comedy, and character development all perfected in this arc. I give this arc a 10/10 and probably one of the top 5 arcs Gintama has done so far. 5/5 episode. I LOVED this arc. Also the Takasugi build-up is real. I can't wait. |

| Woah, that Nobunobu is hardcore as fuck. Even the song when he decapitated Yaemon was hardcore as fuck. That show went full metaaaal!! :D That episode was great, and emotional too. I must admit, my heart skipped a beat when I thought that Yaemon had cut Asaemon throat. The cut seemed more deep than it was. Anyway, she now have a badass scar to showoff! Hasegawa voice in the preview cracked me up. The VA have one of the funniest voice! |

| I pretty much came all over the place when I saw Takasugi! HOLY SHIT! New villain I'm not too interested in, especially not when Takasugi is right next to him. Very emotional arc. I liked it a lot. (It's even relevant today with the ethics of the death penalty.) And we have a nice new badass swordswoman, Asaemon! Next week Madao is back! HELL YEAH! Make it a team up with Zura and we're golden! |

| Tears of joy aren't something I experience a lot, or as a matter of fact tears in general, but episodes like this and Gintama in general are a few things that give me those rare moments. Great episode, nice wrap up of the arc. One of the few moments I really liked Takasugi. When I saw what was in next week, "Madaoooooooooo" |

| 10/10 episode. I wasn't happy at first when Pride Kakumei didn't play during the opening sequence but it more than made up for it when they playing it during the ending scene. It was nice to see a little more of Gintoki's past and I found the promise between him and Asaemon sweet. Hopefully Asaemon stays as a recurring character. |

| okay arc felt like it was leading into something bigger which it is,i liked Asaemon as a character i wonder if she stays apart of the cast since didn't appear that she was leaving. Pride Kakumei Full version when?! i need it in my life leave it to Gintama it always on a good note she took my nipple!!lol, next week we getting into some Domestic violence? |
