| People in need of help were able to tell which Forum Mods were online at the time for certain. Cannot really say I'm a fan of this change. |

| Perhaps it was causing a performance issue and is removed temporarily? The problem here, I think, is not the removal itself, but the fact that it's done without prior notice or subsequent explanation, where the latter is more likely. I personally don't have a preference on the matter, it certainly doesn't affect the core features of the site or the general user experience, but it sometimes feels like things just happen and we're left alone to figure out why. They add up and the lack of communication breeds antagonism as a result. |
