Shingeki no Kyojin is not only the greatest anime but the greatest piece of art/entertainment ever created, change my mind

i have spent so much fucking time unraveling just how unfucking belieavaby deep this sotry's lore and connetions are, this is my first 12/10, holy shit this manga/anime alone has made me say "their is no way this can make me say this is far more than i realised for the 200th time" 200 times.the last 5 episodes of season 3 part 2 have dropped so much fucking infomation into a single episode that completely changes how I view the entirety of this anime/manga is fucking insanewhat i first thought were lazy tropes/mistakes/plot holes I have now realised I should have aproached as questions waiting to be answered, this has completely changed how i will approach this show from now on

and after cathing up a bit with the manga i cannot fucking wait for season 4

for christ sake this is what a single line in episode 58 has uncovered for us, "I am the attack titan"

IMO one of the best title drops ever. The name makes so much sense in-universe, and not just random add ons. Isayama has masterfully planned and crafted from the start.

Ymir’s 13 year curse is finally mentioned during this latest episode. The number 13 has been important in the series.

Bit of a stretch at times but other than the curse

Eren and co are from 104th training corps (divisible by 13)

Year 845 is divisible by 13

Year 850 is 8+5+0=13 (super stretched I know)

Erwin is the 13th commander

The only time they put a page number on the SnK Tankobon is on page 13 of volume 1 (chapter 1 “To you, 2000 years from now”. You can do some math magic to get to 2000 too but it’ll be a big spoiler) where Eren wakes up from his dream (PATHS?)

But there’s also another thing: Leap year. In the lunisolar Hebrew calendar, a 13th lunar month is added when applicable.

Why is that special? Well in Japanese Kanji, this 13th month is written as 閏月 (leap year is written as 閏年). The significance of this character 閏 is that it’s written by joining two characters 門 and 王. 門 in Japanese means “gate” and 王 means “king”. Together, it’s written as a “king residing within the gate”. Sounds like our favorite 145th King. There is also another thing about how 13 in Japanese can be written as 十三 and if you combine the two characters it looks like 王 = “king”."

for context 13 is special has it is the amount of remaining years the individual will have left to live the moment they inherit the power of any of the 9 titansand as far as we know holding mutiple titans at first or gaining another titan power later on doesnt change this life span

especially since eren holds both the attack titan and founding titan

with his father grisha obtaining the attak titan from eren kruger (different person but at the same time isnt, i wont get into that just now as it concerns the coordinates or PATHS) of whom he named his son after for either to memorate eren kruger or to remind eren jaeger (his son)

once he optain hsi memeories of which includes memories of eren kruger

and as far as we know you can only obtain memories from one person before you and,presumably, afterand so far eren has only obtained the memeoeries from the predesesur before and not the one before that, sugesting the host of the founding titans and those connected to them either through family tree or touching one another can only obtain from one displacement before or after

at first we thought that eren kruger obtained eren jaegers memeories but then we ealised his lines were almost identical to that of what grisha said to eren jaeger when he made eren jaeger consume him, grisha, to obtain his titan powers

when eren was like 5

which creates a time paradox theroitically but we dont now if this is new as grisha may have been trying to encourage eren to save his friends and create a better future that he couldnt have OR he was inspired by eren kruger but still said it for similar reasons including understanding eren jeagers destinyas eren kruger mentioned how this bullshit has hapened so many fucking times, now that either means the amount of times thishas happend throughuot history OR how many times this short history has repeated due to the time paradox

and it is theorised that eren aeger consumes all nine titans by the end to either send a message to eren kruger (or even the founding titan ymir but that is EXTREMELY hypothetical) or he time traveled his conscines to eren kruger

and this was all unraveled in one episode, one fucking episode, with the final epsidoe dubbed as the beach episode unraveling what could happen in season 4 as eren has completely changed his ideologies from "killing the titans" to "killing the killers"

for he now realises that the titans were actually victims of the marley empire

fuck me this has come a long way since season 1, it feels like season 1 2 and 3 part 1 were the prolounge for season 3 part 2, but once you watch season 3 part 2 season 1 to season 3 part 1 are no longer the prolonge but rather the after math as your views of it completely change, creating a sort of time paradox in itself

oh and everyone in the subreddit who refered to it as Attack On Titan now refer to it as Shingeki no Kyojin as Shingeki no Kyojin translated to english is actually either "Attack of titan" or "Attack on, titan!" as was revealed by eren kruger when he explained the attack titan

and that the typo in the english translation was actually on purpose

for it used to be attacking the titans, but it is now attacking as the titans

as eren and everyone in the walls are eldians of whom have the potential to turn into titans, with only 9 being able to be titan shifters (can control their titans instead of being mindless forever) at any given time

and the titans outside of the walls were eldians from the marley empire of whom were turned into titans be inserting normal titan spinal fluid (not that of the power titans) into them and sending them off from the ocean bay towads the walls

so now eren realsies that the titans arent the enimies, but rather the marley empire of which makes up normal humans (normal only because they dont have the potential to turn into titans as they dont have eldian blood)

well the marley empire/the rest of the world (i dont think the entire world is the marley empire, just the southern part of africa that has european stuff as it resides in the nothern hemisphere due to how this world persives south and north opposite to us)

with the walls being in madagascar although in this world it is called paradise island for the wrong reasons.
