imo steins gate felt a lot like kokoro connect, but focused on a single character rather than multiple

In my opinion, Kokoro Connect is the best of its general pedigree (friendship and relationships, really), so it's hard to find close recs.

A discount Kokoro Connect is Inou-Bato. I watched that before Kokoro Connect, and when I was watching Kokoro Connect, I always thought "Wow, this is so much better than Inou-Bato." To each his/her own, though, so I hope you enjoy that one.

There are some other good friendship stuff, but they don't have drama like Kokoro Connect. I suppose Non Non Biyori and Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun will satisfy your hunger for lighthearted stuff, whereas Oregairu may satisfy any drama needs.

Anohana, Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo, and Nagi no Asukara gave me a similar feeling since they all deal with friends and their relationships.

oregairu(specially season 2)
yamada kun 7 ninn jo mojo(theme is similar to loloro connect but hardly any drama)

Did you watch sequel to Kokoro Connect? It is called Kokoro Connect Michi Random.

These two are similar.
