| Summer activities ep. w. Kyon's sister. On the beach and Watermelon cutting with guys being the decoys... so dangerous. The friend girl giving alone chance, in scary way. Both of them are being conscious of each other when separatedhttps://youtu.be/HZs9QoskYmk. Sister's accident!! Then to the mountain. The watermelon... is that from before?? Insects catching, then "kimodameshi" finally for this anime. Thought there's going to be scary things, but it was fireflies after all. They are holding hands even after arriving. Firework next ep. Probably final next?? |

Back_Off said: 1 episode to go, running out of time here. They must have planed a season 2 or there will be a suck ending. I wish Haruhi would blow a gasket and remake the world as it should be.Notice how Koizumi talks about closed space, hopefully a big blowout ending. He meant a closed circle, like the kind in a mystery where there's a murder, and nobody can leave due to certain conditions. Haruhi also doesn't have any powers in this world, nor did she in the movie. |

| I really liked this episode. It was a typical cute beach episode with some references to the original series and some super cute moments between Yuki and Kyon. This episode is a prime example of everything this adaptation set out to be. Yeah, its not great, but its entertaining. I'm excited to see how its wrapped up next week. Also everyone's flipping over Haruhi in her swimsuit but can we all take a moment to appreciate Tsuruya like dang girl. |

| Fairly generic episode, but funny in its own way, what with another couple of references to the original series and the twist on the conventional Test of Courage. Also, even if they can barely hold a proper conversation right now, it's a good sign to see Kyon and Yuki holding hands naturally. Now I just wonder what will happen in the final episode and if it will be a satisfying conclusion or not. |

| Some nice references to the Remote Island Syndrome Arc with the Mansion on the island. Overall, the episode was a good mix of relaxation, humour and having fun on the beach. Haruhi's definitely got the best swimsuit, but I do like Nagato's swimsuit too. Kyon's sister always have a "physical" approach when it comes to getting her way at times, with two effective drop kicks into Kyon, the latter being more effective since Kyon crashed on top of Nagato. Kyon's sister was also very funny when she smirked while being next to Asahina's large rack. ^_^ |
| Lol, refs from the original Haruhi series here xD Yuki looked pretty funny when she was eating xD I hope Kyon and Yuki's relationship will get much closer :3 As right now they are still in the awkward stage, and hope we'll see the other Yuki in some ways again in the next episode. |

| Heh, the amount of references in this episode. Enjoyed this part better than the manga counterpart. It felt that they had it right in terms of pacing. Couldn't have it better to set up the finale. Next episode would be the last. For this part Not sure if they're going to have the next season or not (personally I think it's the latter) since |

| soo finally kyons sister is back in the game. Have to give this 5/5 ^^ What bothers me is: In this episode I noticed they CAN make brilliant graphics. even on the characters/faces, they have just decided to screw them up most of the time. Sorry to start this again. But imagine this spin off with old series graphic. the references where nice. For a moment I felt like during the endless eight arc, (I hope they dont screw us with the final episode XD) I somehow dont want this to come to an end. |

| A bit of a shame they repeated the onsen episode in essence. The identity sequence was undoubtedly interesting and was the best part. |

| good job satelight using characters we all like and throwing them into cliche episode after cliche episode.... this was a waste of 16 episodes.... and i havent even seen the 16th one.... sigh.... |
| She may be nuts, but she's got a great body! lol'd @ the beach house references; if there were any others, they went over my head. I guess I should rewatch the main series. Tsuruya was the highlight of this episode tbh. |

| Episode altogether pleasant, nothing so original in the story, some moments are really nice, the relationship between Yuki and Kyon grows, who knows how will end this anime. But I notice that no one notices Tsuruya and his costume for the event are blind? :P Ultimately it would rather there was more participation from the other characters, and with greater characterization of them, but the time spent watching Kyon and Nagato, it's still nice. |
