I feel for listening to something different from what I usually do, so I wanna know what you like to listen to from your countries. Doesn't necessarily need to be your language.

I'm from Sweden. I can share some singers I like :)
Veronica Maggio (singing in Swedish)
Monty (singing in Swedish)
Avicii (dj)
First aid kit (often singing in English)
Amanda Jenssen (often singing in English)

As far as I know, they used to be a straight OI! band, but they developed quite a bit and became pretty succesful over the last couple of years.

A lot of South African music is pretty generic and awful but there are obviously exceptions. For example:

Well, I don't like the music from my country (few exceptions). It's all about love, sex, woman body, cheating, alcohol and more sex. I dislike samba, also.

I like some songs from Raul Seixas, the man who is considered for many, the best Rock singer in Brazil. Rock do Diabo is one of my favorites (Demon's Rock). This music was hugely controversial. Many people, especially the Catholic ones, accused Raul of being Satanist.

Australia has some really known music exports like Kylie Minogue, INXS, AC/DC, Savage Garden and a few others that modern music listeners won't know about. There are a few good acts now and then. I like this song from a Perth band called Eskimo Joe.

That isn't what I was referring to. I'm saying the type of music it is. I haven't seen music that is culturally American, because everyone is an immigrant. So, I think you misunderstood.

Well, that wasn't my intention. I'm just stating that how can something be defined as "American" music when everyone here is an Immigrant. Unless you consider Native American music to be American then I guess that would work.
