Amazon Prime Instant Video - Text on screen not translated?

I'm watching Kino's Journey on Amazon Prime Instant and it's great, but there is a problem - the text that appear on screen (usually at the start & end of an episode) isn't translated.

Am I missing much? Is there a way to fix it?

If you buy the DVD set, the text on the screen is also not translated (if you're watching the English dub.) It is REALLY annoying, but the text is actually just a quote that you just heard. For instance, in the first episode, Kino talks about how seeing the birds makes one want to travel? That quote appears on the screen after a minute or so.

That's it the majority of the time.

However, I've noticed that sometimes they don't even translate the title of the episode, which is annoying too. There's always a secondary English language title below the actual title though. It's not the same, but it's interesting.

However, if you're watching it in Japanese on the DVD release, they have subtitles for those things. I'm not sure how you're watching it on Amazon Instant Video, but if you are able to switch it to Japanese (I actually think the episodes are free in Japanese for prime users) you can read the text.
