| I would say it depends on how old you are. People are all different, however, if you are 18+, I honestly think it's weird if you cry at every damn emotional scene at an anime/movie/show whatever. |

| When seeing a character that one likes and cares for, it creates sympathy/empathy and sympathy creates a connection. Connections are then relatable which equals to a relatively good anime and higher ratings. IMO any anime that can achieve this level of making the audience cry, is doing a very good job. Although if the character(s) aren't built up enough (char dev and what not), its doesn't really do much and often times feels "meh". Somewhat of a silly question. |
